Leaving your bags
Barcelona Airport left luggage: T1 and T2
There are two ways to leave your bags at the airport. The official left luggage office has a staffed desk on level 0 of each terminal: the T1 one never closes, so it is the one to choose for a night flight or a very early morning departure. To explore the city without your suitcases, or to have them delivered, see also Bags&Go, just below.
| Terminal 1 | Open 24 hours a day, level 0 |
|---|---|
| T1 contact | +34 938 307 773 · [email protected] |
| Terminal 2 | 06:00 to 22:00, level 0 |
| T2 contact | [email protected] |
| Prices | Not published by Aena: check the rate at the desk or by email before you go |
| Between the two | Free T1-T2 shuttle bus 24 hours a day: you can leave your bag at T1 when the T2 left luggage is closed |

Storage and delivery
Bags&Go: drop off your bags at T1, or have them delivered
To explore Barcelona without your suitcases, the private Bags&Go service collects your bags at Terminal 1, stores them, then hands them back to you or delivers them to your hotel or the cruise port. It is booked online, at a fixed price.
Luggage storage
Store your bags for the day
- €6 per bag per day, minimum €24 (up to 4 bags);
- meeting point at Terminal 1, level 0, bus bay 33, in front of the green T1-T2 shuttle bus stop;
- drop-off and collection between 07:00 and 19:30;
- insurance included, with no size or weight limit.
From Terminal 2, the free shuttle bus takes you to the T1 meeting point.
Delivery
Have your bags delivered to your hotel or the port
- €12 per bag, minimum €24 (up to 2 bags);
- collection at Terminal 1, same-day delivery to city-centre hotels within 2 to 4 hours;
- delivery to the cruise terminals is also possible, if you are going straight from a flight to a ship;
- your flight is tracked: if it is delayed, the collection is moved back;
- book by midnight the day before at the latest.
Hands free
Explore Barcelona without your suitcases
Drop off your bags at Terminal 1 when you arrive, and pick them up at the airport, your hotel or the port. It works both ways, at a fixed price with insurance included.
Before you drop off
How much does left luggage cost, and what if it is closed?
Neither Aena nor the company that runs the official left luggage office publishes a price list, a maximum size or a maximum storage period. The rates quoted online do not match each other: the safest option is to email the desk at your terminal before you travel, especially for a bulky item such as a bike or a board. Bags&Go, on the other hand, displays its prices: €6 per bag per day, minimum €24.
T2 closes at 22:00
If you land at T2 after 22:00, or your flight leaves before 06:00, drop off or collect your bag at T1: the free shuttle bus between the terminals runs all night. Details of the shuttle bus are on our arrivals, departures and terminals page.
Leaving your bags in the city
To enjoy Barcelona on your last day, avoid the round trip to the airport: Bags&Go also stores bags in the city and can deliver them to the airport before your flight (its city locations). Other private luggage storage networks offer drop-off points in partner shops and hotels, and Sants station has its own left luggage office.
Bags&Go is a private service, independent of Aena; prices taken from bagsandgo.com on 5 November 2026. Aena does not mention any baggage wrapping service on its services pages. A luggage shop at T1 (level 3, departures, 06:00 to 21:30) sells suitcases, padlocks and chargers.
On arrival
Lost or delayed baggage at Barcelona Airport: who to contact?
A bag that does not turn up on the carousel must be reported before you leave the baggage reclaim hall, at the desk of the ground handling agent working for your airline. Lost baggage is not handled by Aena.
The baggage reclaim hall is in the passenger-only area: report the problem on the spot, before you leave. Keep your boarding pass and the baggage tag stub you were given at check-in. For an item left on the plane, Aena also refers you to the airline; for an item lost in the terminal, to its lost property office, below.
