The easiest way is to take the funicular from Paral·lel, then the Montjuïc Cable Car up to the castle.

On the way back, get off at Mirador if you have time: it's a great spot to enjoy the view and take a stroll through the gardens.

The round-trip ticket is the most convenient as it allows you to get on and off at all three stations.
