The Magic Fountains of Montjuïc: Spring and Summer
The Magic Fountains of Montjuïc (Font Màgica de Montjuïc) offer a spectacular show of water, light, and music between Plaça d’Espanya and the Palau Nacional in Barcelona. Sound, lights, and water show: the main fountain delivers a synchronized performance of colorful water jets, lights, and music that draws thousands of visitors weekly. Originally created for the 1929 International Exhibition, they are now one of the city’s most iconic night shows.
Typical performance schedule:
- June to September: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- October: Thursday to Saturday, 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- November to March: Thursday to Saturday, 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
