Albert Raurich has been working at El Bulli from 1997 to 2007 where he was head chief for the last 6 years of his journey with Ferran Adrià … That is to say that he knows quite well about cuisine inspiration and innovation…

 

At Dos Palillos the chef decided to get his inspiration from the far east cuisine, that is mostly from Japan, China, Thailand and Vietnam. And what an inspiration!!

 

Imagine Asian savors married with Spanish traditional tapas and products like seafoods, fish, fresh vegetables of the market, prown, tuna, meat…

Imagine now tempura, raw dishes, woked dishes, steamed dishes, grilled dishes..

 

Albert Raurich’s tapas are pure creativity and grace.. 

 

We loved fresh seaweed sunomono with molluscs, Japanese burger, meat Gyoza,Cantonese style Iberian pork, prawn steamed dumpling..

 

Two degustation menus at 55 and 75€ but they prefer to say one hour and half menu or two hours menu.. 

Lunchtime menu at 20€
In november 2012 Dos Palillos recieved its first Michelin star.

    The food was interesting and tasted excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. As an added bonus the chairs were the best designed and most comfortable I have ever come across in a restaurant.

    This restaurant is the worst restaurant I ever ate.
    Everything tasted like seaweed.
    Terrible textures.
    It was my gift to my husband for his birthday,but we were very disapointed.

    Con muchas disculpas a todos los otros clientes por las molestias debidas a la enorme cuantia de copas, hemos aprovechado de la mejor comida en toda nuestra vida. platos rafinados y cocinados con cuidado y simpatia!
    hemos tomado y comido mucho y muy bien. Restaurante de gran nivel y al mismo tiempo a gusto para jovenes alegres y amantes de la grande vida.
    top del top: gambas ahumadas en la cabeza - flan de atun con huevos de pescado y tomates Pachino en tempura - el postre tambien simplemente espectacular!
    No se deben hacer enganar los clientes que solo vean la primera barra que parece un sencillo bar de tapas: dejanse llevar atras de la cortina....

    sur le commentaire du "Couple de voyageurs": c'est au contraire éblouissant de qualité et d'imagination pour un prix justement très raisonnable comparé à tant de restaurants sans "savoir-faire", sans produits de qualité, sans saveurs..

    Beaucoup de cinéma pour un résultat décevant.
    Si vous avez bon appétit,passez votre chemin.

    j'ai moi aussi adoré Dos Palillos! c'est sublime! optez pour les vins au verre en accord avec les plats, ils sont très bon conseil.

    j'ai écouté vos conseils.. et je suis donc allé chez Dos Palillos (quel mauvais gout ce nom;-).. mais bon c'est juste génial.. le meilleur restaurant de l'année pour moi..
