amazing!
This hotel is on a street that mainly consists of pedestrians, yet taxis and delivery vehicles have access. The moment we arrived at the entrance the manager welcomed us with hospitality. In our room there was a bottle of wine with two glasses alongside a kind note, with the last sentence particularly striking: "Music is the literature of life". The concierge Cezar was extraordinary, from 3 to 11 he was funny, kind and accommodating. He was always ready to give us advice or suggestions regarding restaurants, activities etc. His commitment to us didn't end when we left the hotel. Even after two days in our home, we received an email from the General Manager with a picture of the door I wanted to take a picture of, but was unable to. Incredible!
quietest part of town but the soundproofed rooms were a great way to block out the noise of the city. We had a truly amazing stay and would whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone.
There aren’t enough words to say how great our stay was here. My friend and I booked a room for a girls weekend trip in April 2023. Upon arrival, we were conveniently greeted by a friendly staff member at 1am and provided recommendations for things to do in the area. Our room was extremely spacious and clean, offering a great view of the narrow streets below. An added bonus was the Bluetooth speakers in the room which could be used while getting ready. All the staff members were so friendly and went above and beyond to help; a special mention to two of them who organised a taxi pickup from the front door back to the airport. Although the location was close to a busy area, the soundproofed rooms helped to block out any noise. We had a truly amazing stay and would whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone.
I was apprehensive when I first arrived to Musik Boutique Hotel as the street was not the most inviting. Although the room was small, it was kept very clean, and the polite staff more than made up for it. I found the price to be a bit high, but considering the great location, it was worth it. There are various sights that are accessible by foot, making it a great spot for tourists. All in all, I had a pleasant stay.
Musik Boutique Hotel is definitely nice and modern, with friendly, helpful staff. The location is also quite convenient, being only a few steps away from two metro stations. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of many of Barcelona’s attractions. Despite this, we would not stay there again due to the extreme danger which is a frequent problem at night. We noticed many gangs of pickpockets in the area, and one night it was even worse. We were walking outside the hotel for dinner at around 9pm, and a group of seven males ran past us, snatching away our friend’s bag. Sadly, he lost his everything - phone, passport, and even his permanent residence card. We ran back inside to ask the receptionist for help, only to be told, “Sorry, it’s too dangerous out there - we don’t recommend going out at night.”
I had a great stay at the Musik Boutique Hotel in El Born. It was such a unique and interesting area that truly has a bohemian vibe. The hotel was cozy, comfortable and the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, Cezar greeted us with a lovely bottle of cava and a hand written note. I certainly felt welcome upon arrival. Breakfast was included and delicious, plus they had a great list of recommended restaurants. The only issue was that the street it is located on is quite narrow, however you can still have a cab arrive right at the door. This was one of my favorite stays in Barcelona, definitely worth a visit!
