Sota la influència de Gaudí [Under the Influence of Gaudí] - Until October 13, 2024
Organized by the Fashion Art Institute and designer Manuel Fernández, the “Under the Influence of Gaudí” exhibition at Montjuïc Castle fuses fashion, art and architecture, inspired by the genius of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The 19 column-dresses presented are “living canvases” for Spanish artists, each representing an autonomous region of the country. They are inspired by characteristic elements of Gaudí's work, such as the twisted columns and organic motifs found in Parc Güell and other emblematic works.
This exhibition highlights cultural diversity and sustainability through works that combine avant-garde fashion with homage to the modernist heritage. Each creation reflects the spirit of Gaudí while being reinterpreted through contemporary mediums. A truly creative journey that explores the boundaries of aesthetics and innovation, while celebrating Spain's rich cultural heritage.

“La gran mentira de la muerte” (The Great Illusion of Death) is a multi-channel video and sound installation, conceived specifically for the MACBA Capella in 2024.
