El Cangrejo - Barcelona

El Cangrejo is a very kitsh bar where Drag queens perform, they also have little non-pretentious theatre plays... a very interesting combination. Drinks and fun, it's definitly a winter bar (too hot for the summer), it's an old Spanish pop bar. Be one of the foreigners there!

@Dan
Hello Dan! Yes, the T-casual ticket (which allows 10 journeys) is NOT a multi-person ticket. It is valid for one person only, meaning it cannot be shared between two travelers. Each person would need their own T-casual ticket. If you want a multi-person option, you should go for the T-usual (unlimited travel for 30 days, personal) or the T-grup (70 journeys for multiple users). Let me know if you need more details!

Visit on different days?
If we buy one ticket for the three casas, do we have to visit them all on the same day?

@John
Hello John, Yes, you can board the Aerobus A2 at Plaça Universitat before it reaches Plaça Catalunya to head to the airport. The Aerobus service (line A2) is specifically designed to connect the city center with Barcelona-El Prat Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) efficiently. At Plaça Universitat, there is a designated Aerobus stop, so you can get on the bus there. Just make sure you are at the correct stop for the A2 line if you're heading to Terminal 2. If you’d like to check the route, schedule, and ticket information, you can visit this same page for Aerobus tickets. Let me know if you need more help planning your trip!

@alan
Hello alan, The closest Aerobús stop to Barcelona’s cruise port is Plaça Espanya. From there: Take the green metro line (L3) toward "Zona Universitària" and get off at Drassanes (two stops). Walk about 15 minutes to the World Trade Center (WTC). At the WTC, you’ll find a shuttle called the Cruise Bus that runs directly to the cruise terminals. The cost is approximately €4.50 round-trip. Best,

    Just three words: DON'T MISS IT.

    Well, a few more now: great crowd, great music, great vibe and the awareness of being in one of, if not THE best club in Barcelona. Never seen that many people smiling and having a reeeeal good time!

    It was closed for a while, moved to another location, now it's back (with a vengeance) in the original spot in Raval.

    Enjoy.

  6. El Cangrejo - Robert (1 Jul 2006 - 21:27)

    We were in the Cangrejo earlier this year. It's quite down at heel and a bit tatty, and is in a less than salubrious part of town, but it was absolutely packed with local lunatics singing along to the 60's Spanish pop being mimed by the drag performers. All the other punters could see we were obviously visitors, but were very welcoming.

    It's incredibly friendly, and very busy. Suspend your disbelief and give it a try.
