This mediterranean restaurant – Balthazar - located at the Eixample de Barcelona, welcomes all sort of people depending on the time of the day. During the week, mostly offices from the area go for the fantastic menu.

At noon, the rythm is tottaly frenetic and the service is fast, so to adjust to the time white collars have.
On nighttime and weekends, the restaurant gets transformed to welcome couples, families and groups of friends that wish to get delighted by the a la carte menu. The atmosphere is relaxed, inviting to stay for a while after lunch is finished.

The a la carte menu is mostly mediterranean dishes, with some innovative touches. Eventhough the carte has undergone few changes over the time, they have prefered to focus on client demand.. Why change when something works!!!
Delicious tapas, such as "berenjenas con miel y soja" or the "croquetas de pollo rustido", but we will also find rices and paellas... if you desire fresh fish we recommend the tuna tataki with pimientos confitados or the "calamarcitos a las tres coociones". Talking meats, we can find a delicious « confit de canard » sauted with apple and dry fruits, o the "solomillo iberico" with tomato chutney and Modena reduction.

Great temptations are present for the dessert. White creamy chocolate cake with wood fruits. Hard to resist.

El Balthazar surorises for its delicioius and homemade cuisine, in a nice atmosphere decorated with great taste.
The variety of dishes oh this restaurant, attracts lots of people, filling up almost all rooms. A place to repeat with good company

Hello CC, To travel from Sitges to Barcelona Airport (specifically Terminal 2), you can take a train but there is no direct train service. Here's how you can do it: Take the R2 Sud train from Sitges: This line runs directly to El Prat de Llobregat station. The train departs frequently from Sitges, and the trip to El Prat de Llobregat takes about 30-35 minutes. Transfer at El Prat de Llobregat: Once you arrive at this station, you need to switch to the R2 Nord train heading to Barcelona Airport (Aeroport T2). This is a short ride of around 6-7 minutes. The overall journey from Sitges to Terminal 2 at Barcelona Airport takes roughly 50-60 minutes, depending on wait times between connections. The trains are generally punctual and frequent, so it’s a convenient option. Best,
