Easy to find, under the W Hotel, Pez Vela (the sailing ship) is a marvellous and smart chiringuito of Grupo Tragaluz (Bestial, Agua, Tragaluz...).

One comes there for a superb sight on the sea and the Barceloneta, to enjoy Barcelona beach but more especially to have sea food lunch or diner on a sunny and relax terrace.

The menu: seafood tapas , salads, paellas (15/20€) or grilled fish. Very simple foods but extremely good and perfectly matching for a "farniente" day at the beach.

Went to this restaurant last weekend. Food was quite good. However, we had a really bad experience due to the unpolite staff. They could not even smile at us and did not warn us that if we ordered paella we would get a huge pan. We had ordered way too much food because of this and a lot of food was left over. An awful waste of food. In addition, the restaurant was supposed to be open until 1am, but we were informed at midnight that they were closing. We were suddenly given the bill without asking and even the candle was already removed from the table.

When we addressed one of the staff about the service, they did not take this well by not listening to us at all but just getting defensive.

I never leave reviews but have never experienced this. Do not go to this restaurant. The food is fine, but the people working there are horrible!

Hello CC, To travel from Sitges to Barcelona Airport (specifically Terminal 2), you can take a train but there is no direct train service. Here's how you can do it: Take the R2 Sud train from Sitges: This line runs directly to El Prat de Llobregat station. The train departs frequently from Sitges, and the trip to El Prat de Llobregat takes about 30-35 minutes. Transfer at El Prat de Llobregat: Once you arrive at this station, you need to switch to the R2 Nord train heading to Barcelona Airport (Aeroport T2). This is a short ride of around 6-7 minutes. The overall journey from Sitges to Terminal 2 at Barcelona Airport takes roughly 50-60 minutes, depending on wait times between connections. The trains are generally punctual and frequent, so it’s a convenient option. Best,

We ordered 2 broth Lobster Paellas for four people. One was extremely soupy and the other was much better. The lobster was scarce, very little tail existed. Disappointed. Overpriced for what we got.
Wait staff seem disinterested. Apps were fine.
    Won’t return to the restaurant.

  3. How to rob tourists - Philou (4 Mar 2015 - 08:30)

We chose tapas and a paella for one....just enough to eat for one person. On the bill, two paellas counted, soit 23 euros(expensive!) x2..46 euros. When we called the waiter , we were shown a whole different menu written paella minimum 2 and 23 euros per person.....Of course, nobody understood french or English any more. We have travelles extensively, but never met this kinf of elaborate theft. AVOID!!
