Ristorante Tenorio - Francesca Ranieri (13 Apr 2013 - 08:30)
Somosrrostro in Barcelonneta - Judy Kugle (25 Mar 2013 - 08:15)
Go as many times as you can. Of all the places to eat in Barcelona (I spent 5 weeks there). It remains my favorite food memory. Both Boqueria ans Santa Caterina markets should not be missed.
Restaurante Quixote - manuel (7 Mar 2013 - 18:30)
Cachitos the best - Alfredo parmigiano (2 Feb 2013 - 09:00)
Cachitos is by far the best restaurant i have ever been in barcelona
Dos Palillos - jim (30 Gen 2013 - 01:00)

The restaurant Mordisco is simply wonderful. It is not cheap but very good.I recommend!!!!
Es imposible sacar una lista de 10! - CRAM (19 Nov 2012 - 08:15)
Barcelona is loaded with excellent restaurants, including those in this list, but for me considering quality of food, presentation and price, Con Gracia has them all beat. Ironically it's also No.1 in TripAdvisor....so naturally I was suspicious when we went there for the first time, but no it didn;'t disappoint. It's for me the most outstanding so far....we have yet to get around the rest!
Best pizza - Eugene McGoldrick, Belfast (20 Ott 2012 - 16:00)
Visited Barcelona last week, stopped of Cafe Icaria, Avinguda Icaria which sits beside the metro line of Ciutdella Villa Olimpica.
I want to nominate the Cafe as the best pizza I received that week. Absolutely excellent. Not only brilliant, but 2 full size pizzas, 2 coke for 17 Euro. Service also with a smile and the guy behind the counter asked us if all was fine - he was so chuffed we we indicated a real satisfaction.
Hope you manage to spread the word. I tried to contact the Cafe but couldn't - perhaps you could pass on this comment.
Cheers
Eugene & Margaret

El mejor restaurante de Barcelona - Arturo (18 Ott 2012 - 08:15)
In my opinion, the best restaurant of Barcelona is Tonka, Carrer Marquès del Campo Sagrado 27, near Sant Antoni market. Forget the super design, the noise, and the "movida" you usually find in town: here, you can sit quietly, having conversation with your friends and enjoying the wonderful food, that is hand-made, healthy and tasty. Everybody has many opcions, vegetarians included. And you should really taste the cakes and the sunday brunch.
Market - R-Events (11 Ott 2012 - 10:15)
We had dinner at Market last night and it was amazing, fantastic, delicious.
Loved it.
Best meat in the city!! - Obama (9 Set 2012 - 09:00)
Don´t miss restaurant Igueldo. The t-bone for two people is the best I ever tried!
Excellent repas, et trés bon qualité prix! - sandy paris (4 Set 2012 - 08:30)
Best pizza ever - Jon (28 Ago 2012 - 21:00)
We stayed at the Claris Hotel in C/Pau Claris, and the doorman recommend us to try the Pizzeria Smilo close to the hotel.
Fortunate experience, the Pizza is absolutely excellent, Thin and crispy, The service is nice and friendly.
just to say, we went there 3 times during the week.
My favourite tapas in Barcelona - Josh (8 Lug 2012 - 06:15)
My favourite out of this list is definitely Quimet Quimet. It is without doubt the most exciting place to eat in Barcelona.
I also had another great experience at a cooking class I took called ‘Papa Serra – Culinary Adventures in Barcelona’. It was during this class that I learnt how to make what was quite possibly the best tapa i tried in Barcelona. It was chicken poached in wine and lemon then mixed with saffron yogurt, black grapes and toasted almonds. Then it was wrapped in a radicchio and lightly braised in the poaching liquid. Then we dipped it in a spice mix of fennel seeds, bee pollen and lemon zest. It was so delicious and a highlight of our holiday!
what a wonderful city - Frida (28 Giu 2012 - 08:30)
every time i go to barcelona it surprises me in a good way, i see the crisis, but beyond the bad times new ideas bloom like springtime. although we always enjoy our classics in barcelona, like the cova fumada or el xapanyet, this time we discover a new one thanks to those comments below, la pepita, ran by a young lovely couple who gives a personal treat to the tapas, freshness, friendly staff and very nice price. it remind me (with a modern touch) to those old bars we used to go in carer ample, now it just rests la plata, still the same! so we appreciate your comments and the spirit of la pepita, because you made us have a new favorite in barcelona where even the steak tartar made me travel to my childhood.amazing.
La Vietnamita... - Don (10 Giu 2012 - 09:45)
There is a much better Vietnames/ Thai take- away place on Plaça de la Revolució de Setembre de 1868, just nearby. La Vietnamita is not hopeless but they have small and watery portions, better suitable for hippies.
Vietnamese in Barcelona - YummyYummy! (30 Mag 2012 - 11:30)
Another great restaurant to add to this list is LaVietnamita. I came across it when I was visiting the enchanting barrio de Gracia. It is a new, different restaurant which specialises in Vietnamese food. The atmosphere is fun and young, and the decoration in the restaurant is lovely. Being self-service, the food was prepared quickly and the staff were all very friendly! The food was a pleasant surprise, I had an excellent curry and a homemade lemonade. So, if you're looking for something different in Barcelona, I highly reccomend LaVietnamita.
Awesome - Liran (21 Mag 2012 - 20:15)
This site helped me with my school project! Now I know the top 10 places to eat in Barcelona!! Thank you people!
RISTORANTE NECTARI A BARCELLONA - laura - italy (3 Mag 2012 - 08:00)
Ottimo!! Complimenti allo chef.
Restaurante Anonim - Jazmine (12 Apr 2012 - 08:45)
tapas!!!!!!! - >Tim (5 Apr 2012 - 07:00)
up to my early experience, I just went to cal pep, too busy, too many tourists. I can recommend la Pepita as others did before here, it was near our hotelcasa Fuster and bumped into by surprise, we repeated before leaving, it should be on the top ten list for three clear reasons *real good tapas for veryaforable prices *full of local&beautiful people &*they treat you before like a person than a tourist, which catalan guy eats 6 peaces of bread by its own? they dont take profit of us and take time to explain you the stuff. worst the mussels with orange sauce, to spiced for us & best, golden pepita and vip croquette. 100% recommendable. by Tim,
restaurants in Barcelona & Alicante - Valerie O'N, Paris (4 Apr 2012 - 00:45)
Does anyone know the names of the restuarants which appear in the movie 'vicky, Christina, Barcelona'? If not can somone recommend restaurants in Barca or Alicante where there is guitar music and a nice terrace?
Thanking you all in advance.
Anonim - Eva (31 Mar 2012 - 09:15)
Molt be Anònim !!!!
comentario - Irma Camarena (28 Mar 2012 - 23:15)
I strongly recomend Igueldo restaurant - Peter, Germany (17 Mar 2012 - 09:15)
It was near my hotel so I went to try. INCREDIBLE and huge meat for two. I´ve never tried such a good piece of meat! The starters were very interesting and tasteful. Is not cheap (50€ per person) but I really recomend it!
Los Caracoles - World Traveler (27 Feb 2012 - 23:15)
I really like this place...authentic catalan cuisine with lots of caracter. I returned to Barcelona after 14 years and visited Los Caracoles for a special ocassion and had a great time.
The Fillet steak was perfectly cooked and the service was excellent..
Santa Gula - Izaskun Seva (1 Feb 2012 - 15:15)

OBE restaurant UN NUEVO DESCUBRIMIENTO EN BARCELONA - Xavi78 (27 Gen 2012 - 09:15)
I agree with Gladys and add one more - Sabrina, 47 Sweden (19 Gen 2012 - 01:15)
thankyou for writing about la pepita, we got to understand how locals amuse themselves and have very nice tapas for an affordable price ... went there twice in a row for dinner and lunch next day! first time we drank some nice cava and two half gin and tonics, around 6or 7 delicious tapas, vip croquette, anchovy with caramel....sardines with cheese, bravas! all to to share and a dessert inspired on a traditional catalan dessert and a traditional dessert from alicante, some ricotta and pumking, amazing! all for 60euros both, for us resulted quite chip! specially if they serve it with a big smile and explain you everything is homemade and inspiring........ they are so young the owners but not the atmosphere, I mean we appreciated mixed people from 25 to 80! all very pretty tough... to try new things, we asked the owner Sophia for some seafood and booked me in braseria galega, not far away, wooowww little more expensive and not to cozy decoration, but superb food, totanlly recommended!!!! once in your trip you cant miss those two, but being honest, we couldnt help but returning to la Pepita to try our dreamed dessert mmmm..in fact Barca is about discovering gastronomy, so thanks to this blog, we certanly did!! yeap
Tapeo, anem de tapes - Angela (17 Gen 2012 - 09:30)
The tapas here were the best we had in two weeks in spain.
The service was very good ( they speak English),
And the price was surprisingly low.
Go there! You won't regret it.
Just want to say delicious to all!!! - Catherine (17 Gen 2012 - 09:30)
I found here the hidden relax place to enjoy Japanese and Thai food with amazing Jazz music. The handmade dessert was fantastic!!!
Yamane Café - cerca plaza Molina barcelona

restaurants barcelona - Catherine Sivrika (27 Dic 2011 - 11:15)
I was in Barcelona a few days ago and I trusted the recommendations about "La Pepita". I must say that it is a cosy place but strictly for students or very young people at their thirties. I am 37 years old and I felt the oldest to be there not only because of the other people around me but also because of the concept. Besides that I can't but tell you that the food is totally indiferrent and they didn't persuade me that it was based on good products. On the other hand it would be unfair if I didn't mention that the personnel was friendly and exceptionally kind and this is not a characteristic attribute of the people in Catalonia.
thanks for the tips! great list, I stay for La Pepita! - Gladys (15 Dic 2011 - 09:00)
I was glad to find this list which seems not to be tricked or payed for, and it helped us a lot on planning our trip to Barcelona, we adore to try what we see were we go. well, well so we tried some top restaurants figured in the list, and of course it was very good, but no surprises on dinning creative and correct for 90euros per pax... but then I went through the comments and found out some about this tinny resto, LA PepITA, 1 year old they told me and finally satisfied my need on finding something creative, authentic and young... it is ran by a young lovely couple, always around, the family helps and the do more than correct tapas for a very reasonable price, surprised us on the best way!!!! dont expect white truffle for 30eur tete, but feel free to ask them to bring you what they want and you will try some traditional exquisite things as the cheekbeef with green oil or the very important croquettee!!! no words, they also have a speciality called Pepita, between a sandwich an a dish, amazing! I told them I was going to spread the word, because is totanlly worth it, Go! and have fun with the cozy atmosphere, local people homemade tapas and a REAL COZY DECORATION, my emphasis here is because I am a bit fed up with those places that spend millions on pretending to be old... or too futuristic, here you can feel the soul! please go, and by the way, say hello to Sergio and Sofia from Gladys, salut!!
