Our Review
Is the Articket Worth It?
Before choosing, compare the individual museum rates, displayed in up-to-date real prices, with the price of the Articket, 38.00 €.
The Articket is particularly relevant if several of its six museums are already on your itinerary. Starting at 38.00 €, it should be seen as a simple, specialized, and very flexible cultural pass thanks to its 12-month validity.
However, it's important to know that the Barcelona Card also includes the six museums of the Articket. Its advantage is different: it provides free access to over 25 museums and cultural spaces and includes unlimited public transport, but its duration is 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours.
In practice, choose the Articket if your priority is art and you want to spread out your visits without time constraints. For a stay of 3 to 5 days with a lot of travel and several different museums, the Barcelona Card is worth comparing.
What each museum costs on its own
If you plan to visit several museums, compare the price of the Articket with tickets purchased separately.
| Picasso Museum | 14.00 € |
|---|---|
| MNAC | 12.00 € |
| Joan Miró Foundation | 17.00 € |
| MACBA | 15.00 € |
| CCCB | 6,00 € |
| Tàpies Museum | 15.00 € |
| Articket: the 6 museums | 38.00 € |
Note: The Articket becomes worthwhile starting from the 3rd museum. It includes priority access and is valid for 12 months.
