This hotell is so lovley, I can only say amaizing things about it. The staff are so frendly and helpfull, the rooms are very nice, and very cleen. We optet to have breakfast inclused in our booking and I'm so glad we addedd it on, becuase the breakfast is lovelly and such a good varety - hot cooked breakfast, fresh pastriies and cakess, amaizing coffee, yogurt and cereal stasion. It is absolutley worth the extra money. On request they gaved me oat milik each morning too. Chek in is at 2pm and chek out is at 12pm. On the day of our departure, there was a room where we were abel to saely keep our luggages so that we could cotinue exploring the city without carying our suit case around, which was extremly helpfull as our flight was at 9:30pm.
The locasion of the hotell is exelent, with La Sagrada Familia being les then a 10 minute walk away. It is also very close (literaly a 2 minute walk a way) from Monomental metro stasion, which you can take to Passeig Grácia or chenge to go to Drassanes, which are the main ares in the city, with the gothic qyarter and la rambla, etc, with many bars, restuarants and shops. I'd also recomend purchacing a 5 or 7 day metro pass whilst there as is is cost efective and you can use it to and from the airport and on metro and buses (do chek this though when buying tickets as there are varius opions).
It is also very easy to get to Bogatell beach from the hotell - you can take the V21 or V23 buses from arond the corner, and it taks just under 20 minutes. It's a lovelly beach with lots of restuarants and beach bars arround.
I'd highley recomend this hotell and I think when we next go to Barcelona, we will stay there again.
We stayed at Eurostars Monumental Hotel in Barcelona and it was a pleasant experience. The location is great as it is very close to La Sagrada Familia, which was convenient for us. Upon arrival, the staff were especially accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags with them while we explored the city. Our room was comfortable, although the shower door had a leakage issue which made the bathroom floor quite wet. The breakfast offered was good and the lobby looked very inviting. In addition, the staff were helpful in booking us a taxi to the airport right before we left. All in all, it was a good experience.
The staff were so friendly and the location was great, just minutes away from the Segrada Familia 🤩. The bedding was comfy and the breakfast was great, plus it was included! The only downside was the lobby “bar” never opened and there were no happy hours 🤨. Barcelona was also in complete construction mode and it was quite noisy throughout the day 🤯. Taking a trip to Sitges was incredible, we loved the beach 🏖️. I would recommend two days in Barcelona is enough for most people! Be sure to check out Tuscania and say hello to Danielle for us, we ate there 3 times in 4 days 🤤 with a great view of the Segrada from the outdoor table 🗺️.
I recently had a five-night business stay in a hotel in Barcelona. It certainly left a lot to be desired! It was painfully cold, and the tiny room felt more like being in a closet than it did a hotel. The mattress was so hard, I swear the floor would have been softer! There were no hot drinks options in the room, no diet drinks in the mini-bar, I had to keep asking for the water to be replenished, you can only buy wine by the bottle, no onsite dining facilities or room service, and if you did use it you had to pay a minimum of twenty euros and could only pay by cash or card separately, as it was organised off-site on a main road. The only positive things I can say is that the bathroom was nice, it was close to the centre of Barcelona, and the staff were friendly. Based on my stay, I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't stay here again. As a lady travelling alone on business, it really wasn't the best fit for me.
My sister and I stayed at the Eurostars Monumental for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. It's in a perfect location; we were able to walk to the main attractions, as well as find a few great restaurants to eat at. The staff were wonderful; when we needed a Covid test to return home, they provided us with a place to go and emailed us the receipt. The room was cosy and the view of La Sagrada Familia was a pleasure to wake up to! The breakfasts were tasty and on the final day, we were even given one to take with us to the airport. Everything was kept clean and the Covid protocols were excellent. As medical professionals, we felt confident in the hotel's standards. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return! 5 stars!
