I'll be sure to avoid this restaurant, but why do the website authors now advise against dining here?

  1. read tri advisor.com - read real reviews (29 Apr 2012 - 22:30)

I have been using and posting reviews on tripadvisor..I have read the reviews and plan on going in late May

  2. Can Majo - Tony James (19 Apr 2012 - 08:00)

Thank you for that comment. We're going next week and will report back when we have made up our own minds.

  3. Can Majo - Gerry Dawes, Premio Nacional de Gastronomia 2003 (26 Mar 2012 - 11:45)

Whoever wrote this trashing of Can Majo had an agenda. I have been going there for years and have had consistently terrific meals. And I have gone there with groups, with top American chefs and foodies, people not likely to be fooled by the setting, but being in La Barceloneta, etc. This is a bad unjust review written by someone with an axe to grind!!!

  4. Can majo - Paul (3 Mar 2012 - 10:45)

I agree with the last comment. I suggest you go back to can majo and eat there again...service ok bit now great but consistently fantastic seafood. Great menu and best paella in Barcelona. Go back before you try and ruin good businesses

  5. Can majo - richard (9 Feb 2012 - 14:15)

I think this is harsh. Did someone upset you there? I have eaten there man many times over the year and I believe still is one of the best seafood restaurants in the city. The paellas and caldosos are hard to beat still. I don´t understand the downgrade. They had a refit but the people behind it are the same and I haven´t noticed a drop in quality. I suggest you pay another visit as it seems unfair..

  6. Dinner at Can Majo - Mark (18 Jul 2011 - 09:00)

We ate there 14 july 2011 for wife's B-day. Had an excellent meal outside on the terrace with excellent service...very surprised to see the negative standing. We had clams, cockles, prawns, lobster, a bouillabaisse, veal, cava, wine, dessert... all seafood fresh and meal delicious. Expensive...but you get what you pay for... a memorable evening...would love to go back

  7. Can Majó - Jordi (17 May 2011 - 10:15)

Pedimos dos tipos de arroces, el trabajo fue nuestro para ver cual de los dos era el MAS MALO.
    Restaurante nada recomendable

  8. restaurante can majo - angel (9 Jan 2011 - 11:30)

el mejor caldero de arroz con bogavante que se puede comer en Barcelona siempre con la misma calidad una total garantía, 20 años de cliente.

  9. A éviter - Christian (21 Sep 2010 - 01:30)

Navrant !

  10. Can Majo - pablo (13 Oct 2009 - 15:00)

Glad to see Can Majo in the Strongly Avoid restaurants..This restaurant has a completely usurped reputation and it's very expensive... Too bad for its beautiful terrace...
