Hi, I'm Mike from Sweden, I was last week in Barcelona for holidays.

What a great weather in Barcelona! It's amazing!

I went with my family to Gran Cafè, a really good restaurant, the food and service was so good... 3 days in this city have been too short!

sans doute le meilleur bar à tapas ,des tapas chaudes et servis à la seconde , tout est fait maison et devant vous , , le defaut c'est que c'est petit , mais justement c'est tout le charme du lieu ,
à ne pas manquer :
calle vidre numéro 8.à coté de la plaça Real .

It is called Cera 23, you'll find it in the Raval neighbourhood, 10 min from Las Ramblas.

Two tips: try the volcano of black rice, enjoy their blackberry mojito.

Amazingly friendly staff who speaks fluent English. Couldn't really ask for more.

Take my advice... just go there

If you visit Barcelona and get around the famous Gaudi's church called Sagrada Familia, it is recommended for your health and safety to avoid eating or drinking at the nearby restaurants called Picasso, Trabucaire and Baviera all owned by the same owner. The food served is not fresh and comes from frozen packages, cooked and left in a fridge for days until someone orders and simply get placed in a micro wave. Tapas are made of left overs from other customers plates and all this at a very high price aimed to rip off tourists.
It is highly recommended to avoid those places.

Is this true of all places? We are planning on coming for a long weekend - will we struggle to find places to eat on a Sunday/Monday?

Hay un restaurante nuevo, que no esta en vuestras listas. Muy chulo esta en el borne y es muy recomendable, es de comida casera americana, hamburguesas, costillas y muy logrados batidos. pruebenlo, a mi me sorprendió mucho fui por que me lo recomendaron tambien, esta a dos pasos del metro jaume I. su web www.berniesdiner.com

même si les tapas ne sont pas d'origines catalanes, Barcelone est une bonne ville pour les découvrir. plein de bonnes petites adresses!!

c'est un petit bar à taps avec des tapas de reves , vraiment si vous venez à barcelone ne manquez pas le rendez vous de ce bar , ça se trouve , metro LICEU , aller à la plaça Reial , (tout le monde connait , c'est un place touristique et très cher ) mais juste à coté une rue qui s'appelle "Vidre" , numéro 8 , vraiment passez , si pas de place , c'est normal , on boit un verre dehors en toute convivialité , puis dès qu'il y a de la place on y entre , et là on comprend que ça valais le cout d'attendre .à ne pas manquer .

Simply memorable experience. I found Papa Serra after looking for a cooking class in Barcelona - the class was amazing and we learnt to cook some amazing food with the chef.

Then he told us about a restaurant he had started and after tasting the food during the class, my wife and I said yes immediately and reserved a seat for the following night.

We were not disappointed. The atmosphere, food, wine and service was just outstanding. We tried about 10 dishes as part of a fixed menu matched with wine for a very reasonable €70.

There were at least 10 dishes - each as delicious as the last and flavours that were just so fresh and balanced. I remember the dessert expecially - a chocolate and smoked paprika tart - wow. And then an almond soup with shaved frozen grapes. And something with bee pollen and wild thyme. Still thinking about it : )

This is Spanish food but so different from what you will find on Las Ramblas! A brilliant experience and one we will be back for next time we are in Barcelona!

bonjour ,
un bar à tapas à couper le souffle , calle vidre /numéro 8 , Bodega 1881 , c'est du top , c'est bon , c'est chaleureux , c'est vraiment gouteux et l'ambiance géniale , juste un défaut , c'est fermé le jour , ouvert juste le soir . mais vraimnt à ne pas manquer , si ça manque de place , ne pas hésiter à boire un verre en attendant , ceux qui partent ont tort .

Une superbe ville pour ses restaurants: la cuisine catalane est de grande qualité! Cherchez les bonnes adresses car cela vaut vraiment la peine.

Una de las mejores experiencias de hamburguesa que he tenido ha sido en el 7Sins Bar de cale Muntaner.
Hacen unas hamburguesas excepcionales y saburosas... El pan esta buenísimo y son muy grandes!!!

un'ottima paella e un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo si trova nella "taverna più antica del porto (dal 1753)" CAN RAMONET", proprio sulla piazza del mercato di Barceloneta

Restaurant le Casanova au n° 46 de la rue du même nom : situé à proximité de l'auberge de jeunesse. Accueil très chaleureux avec le patron qui parle français, la cuisine est faite par Madame avec les produits frais du marché : un menu à 9,50 €, une carte avec par exemple assiette de poissons grillés à 12 €, prix imbattables avec qualité et quantité, sans parler de la sangria..... hummmm

Je conseille le restaurant au 46 rue de casanova, le patron parle très bien le français et est fort sympathique . Le menu à 9,50 euros tout compris est bon et varié (entrée+ plat +dessert+boisson+café+ pain). Tout est maison et est bien cuisiné, il n'y a pas de surprise.
Nous avons pris plaisir à y venir manger tous les soirs après notre journée de visite .

si possono gustare frutti di mare freschissimi ed altro pesce esposto. si sceglie quello che vuoi mangiare, lo pesano e lo cucinano sia fritto che alla piastra.

últimamente he estado buscando algún sitio donde poder comer comida sana a buen precio, no es que me haya hecho vegetariano pero me intereso un poco mas por lo que como y además estaba buscando un lugar con sabores exóticos.
En el barrio de Gracia, en Torrent de L'olla encontré el otro dia un sitio así:

El concepto me gusta, mesas compartidas, autoservicio y precios asequibles. Todo esto claro para lo mas importante, comida saludable y sabrosa. Eso si...no hay una gran carta donde elegir, pero lo que probé me gustó mucho...así que no dudo en recomendarlo. un saludo y bon profit,

Vintage Restaurant in Barcelona has an exquisite and elaborate menu of original dishes and desserts complete with an excellent range of wines.

consiglio vivamente la fonda, un ristorante su una traversa delle ramblas, il prezzo e' onestissimo e si mangia da dio.. ottima la paella, le sangria e anche il vino della casa.la fila e' lunga specialmente dopo le 21, ma scorre bene, e ne vale la pena..

One of the best restaurants in spain... no doubt!!! I am very kean on high level "Michellin"-food. Gresca has no star... yet. But flavour and technic is amazing, service is great and the prizes unbelievable. I've done two tasting menus and a lot of other orders and nothing is questionable - everything is spot on. Check out Raphaels amazing cooking skills for yourselfs...

A new method to steal your money.something that happened to me and another couple last week after we finnish to eat in restaurant neer the marina in marina ave This is the method:
a young man looks like a student ask you where is the way to some famous place
,and suddenly two mens appears well dress with costume
and says that they are a secret police and showwing you a badge of policeman during saying that they looking for buyying hashis and kokain and want to check US IF WE BUY and while they smelling wallet and asking if the is not fake the money sayying that they are sorry but this job to check us after they release us ,after they go I check my
wallet and found that the big money of 50 and 100 disappear and only the 5,10,20 left
