A new eatery in Barcelona by most prestigious Chef Ferran Adrià.
This time it’s a tapas bar but of course not a traditional one. At Tickets tapas are innovative and creative like all avant-garde culinary ideas of Adrià.
The chef will not be cooking at Tickets but just around the corner to validate every new tapa..

Get ready to taste:
Jamón de toro: Home-salting tuna belly painted with Iberian cured ham fat (12,50€), Spiced tomato tartare with crunchy bread (8,50€)
Steamed razor clams with ginger, Cayenne pepper and lemon air (11,20€), Liquid ravioli with Payoyo cheese (3,40€) / piece, Half roast bonito with garlic-sauce jelly (3,80€ /piece) and more..

Beware: Booking online is the rule to get a table.. No other way..

Cal Pep - Barcelona

Cal Pep is one of the most known tapas restaurant in Barcelona.

Its reputation goes largely behind the city wall and it's justified. Everything is fresh and fun, the tapas, the people, the service, the wine...

Nothing to say just that you have to be there once otherwise you don't know what tapas are. While waiting, look the orders and make your menu. Every meal is a delight and every season a new pleasure that follows the market arrivals.

There is also the restaurant " Cal Pep" next door with notorious fish and seafood dishes as well. Both are crowded, book, book, book at the restaurant or be patient at the bar but go there...

Arola - Barcelona

Arola restaurant in Barcelona is located on the second floor of the luxury Hotel Arts.

One comes there for its brand new pop design, its beautiful terrace in front of Frank Gehry's giant wale and great live music set with local DJs.

But not only! 

Catalan chef Sergi Arola is a rising star of Spain's culinary world. Disciple of Ferran Adrià and Pierre Gagnaire, Sergi Arola offers here a fine “menú degustación pica-pica » that is a selection of tapas:

Patatas “Bravas de Arola”, fritas y rellenas de salsa picante y recubiertas de alioli -  A “Tartar de Filet Mignon con infusión de soja y jenjibre” .. And many others hot and cold surprises.

This testing menu of tapas is at 50€

But you can also have main courses “A la carte”  that bring you to an upper level of the dexterity of the head chef with:

Lubina  (sea bass)  asada , emulsión de berros , cebolleta y pimienta rosa (28€) - Lomo de ternera perfumado en brasas, cereales y jugo ligero de setas  (28€)…

A well-stocked cellar offers over 900 wines..

Quimet & Quimet - Barcelona

Quimet & Quimet is a great tapas bar, especially for cheese and mussels. One of the most fantastic wine cellar of Barcelona.

Order other delights such as mussels with tomato, navajas, or any of the original "montaditos". 

Pinotxo - Boqueria market Barcelona

No lie, when we go to eat at the Boqueria Mercat (market in Catalan) it’s always difficult for us to choose between El Quim de la Boqueria and this other tapas bar called Pinotxo.. Go to both and tell us what is your favourite..

At Pinotxo (located to the right of the main entrance) you will appreciate for sure: lamb stew, lentils, vegetable stew, cod, grilled lobster, clams and many kind of rice.. Difficult to choose..

El Quim de la Boqueria - Barcelona

El Quim de la Boqueria is truly a family business: mom, dad and son serve traditional catalan dishes around the bar when there is space.

Even the regulars have to wait for a place to sit, as El Quim is a stall in the most beautiful and bustling market in Barcelona: the Boqueria market.

Boquerones, chipirones, arroz negro.. From 3€ to 9€... Best tapas around..

If there is no table for you, go to Pinotxo another tapas bar in the same Boqueria market.

Bar Tomás - Barcelona

Of course it’s quite far from city center.. But Bar Tomás is known all over the town for its Patatas Bravas!

Patatas are simple fried potatoes, the savoir faire comes from the sauce added as topping..  A secret of course! 

But believe us and try Patatas Bravas and Patatas Bravas y salsa con aioli..

Bar Tomás is also great for traditional tapas and dishes like : Anchovies tapa, ham tapa, tuna with spicy peppers and its homemade sweets..

Young and cool atmosphere.. Worth the effort to go there!!
