After attempting to directly contact the hotel before publishing my review and receiving no response, I was surprised to receive a survey a few days after check-out. While I want to commend the professionalism and kindness of one particular employee, my stay fell short of my expectations for a 4-star hotel. Here are a few reasons why: firstly, I had requested an early check-in, but upon my arrival, it was clear that this request had not been considered and we were turned away rather rudely. Additionally, my room was not cleaned by 4pm, and when I tried to call the front desk, there was no answer. I was then told to wait 30 minutes, but as I only had a short window for rest and a shower before my evening meetings, I asked for my room to be cleaned after I left. However, I was denied as the room service apparently finishes at 5pm. This is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel, especially considering the high price I paid for my room. Finally, when we requested a taxi for an early morning check-out, we were promised a wake-up call at 3:50am which was never received. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have had so far.
🏨 My 5-night stay was fantastic! The 🤗 staff went above and beyond, arranging an early check-in and even helping me find a 🚕 to the airport. The hotel's 📍location on the bustling Ramblas street was 👌, with the port and Drassanes metro station just a stone's throw away. However, the room was a bit too 📏 small and the breakfast lacked variety. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
I had a great stay at this hotel right on La Rambla. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, and I want to give a special mention to Genesis at reception who even ran out in the rain to call a taxi for us. A truly top-notch experience!
Staying at this hotel was a real 🤬. The 🤷♂️ at the front desk was especially rude; they really didn't seem to care about their guests. We feel like they are only exploiting the location and nothing more. Definitely won't be going back there and wouldn't recommend 🙅♀️ it to anyone. There are plenty of other hotels on the same street that could provide a better service for the same price. 🤷♀️ 🤔
Staying at this hotel was a great 🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience! Rooms were nice and clean, though slightly small for US travelers. Nonetheless, it was good enough for Europeans 🤗. Breakfast was 🤤 delicious and the location was perfect. 🗺️ Furthermore, the staff were friendly and very helpful 🤝. Taking the tour bus ticket sold at the hotel was super easy and the stop was just 5 minutes away. I would totally stay here again 🤗.
