Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona

Very avergae hote. Brekfast was acceptale, roon was cleen, but this hote is not in the best aerea. Lots of noiz insied and outside the bulding at night, with kids runing up and down corrodors ad slamming doers at midnite..

We had a fantastic stay at the Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona! The air conditioning was excellent in both our room and the reception area. The staff were so friendly, particularly the restaurant team, and our room was very clean and tidied up daily. The food was great, although a bit samey, but still very tasty and nicely presented. We slept soundly and never heard any noise. The lobby was beautiful, and the bathroom was up-to-date and modern. Plus, the hotel was close to the metro, making getting around the city easy. The reception team were extremely helpful with directions and tips for our day trips and gave us useful advice about pickpockets. All in all, we were highly satisfied with our stay; great value for money at a top-notch hotel!

I recently stayed at the Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona and unfortunately I was not satisfied with my experience. When I booked an apartment with Agoda, I requested a triple room which includes a double bed and a single bed. However, when I arrived, I was told that I would have to pay an extra €15 per night if I wanted the requested room type. This was completely unacceptable and there was no prior warning about this. Furthermore, this hotel claims to be a 4-star hotel but the service I received was far below what I would expect from a hotel of that quality. Additionally, when I arrived, I was unaware of the extra €16 tourist tax which I had to pay. The room itself was far from what I would expect from a 4-star hotel, with torn sheets and broken paint in the bathroom. To make matters worse, there wasn't even enough cutlery in the kitchen for the three of us and there was no shower gel in the bathroom, which I didn't notice until late at night when I wanted to take a shower. The only positive thing I can say is that the restaurant and bar lady was kind enough to open a bottle of wine for me and provide me with some glasses. All in all, my experience at the Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona was very disappointing and I regret my stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would not stay there again if I had the chance.

Overall, my stay at Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona was quite unpleasant and it was the first time in a long while that I had a bad experience with a hotel's staff. I understand that issues may arise and it is normal, but the way they handled them was absolutely unacceptable. From my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and I wouldn't stay there again.

The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is central to everything so it was really easy to get around. Highly recommend this one!

My family and I stayed at Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona for 10 days and we all had an amazing time! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the accommodation was modern and clean, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the location was perfect, so close to all the attractions. We were up early every morning, but the cleaners were already hard at work and the hotel was spotless by the time we returned in the evening. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona - you won't be disappointed!
