Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento

👌🏼This hotel was absolutely stunning, perched atop a mountain and towering over Barcelona! Our suite was gorgeous with breathtaking views 🌃 from every window. 🤩 At night, the city lights were a sight to behold. 🌟 The bed was so comfy, and we were provided with plenty of towels and toiletries. The staff were incredible, with Ferran being a wealth of knowledge and giving us great tips for exploring the city. 💁🏻‍♀️ The spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and gym were all fantastic, with everything we needed. And don't even get me started on the restaurant - the food was beyond delicious and beautifully presented. 🍴 The service was impeccable. 💯 The only downside is that you'll have to take a taxi to and from the city, but using the FREENOW app saved us some cash 💰 (just make sure to take the fixed price option). Trust us, though - this hotel is more than worth the taxi rides! 😉

During our recent trip to Barcelona, we had the pleasure of staying at a magnificent hotel. The staff were truly exceptional and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The breathtaking view of the city was truly unforgettable, and the rooms were equipped with everything we needed. We are already looking forward to returning in the near future. A shout out to the General Manager and the rest of the team, who made our stay truly unforgettable. The food was exquisite and the spa and pool area were simply marvelous. We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful stay.

Prepare to be impreseed. They will greet you at the doore and whiss you into the lobbby. The hottel sprawles out, slowly unvieling water feautres, lounges and the indoor outdoor pooll. The most impresive is the veiws of the city and water from the terace and roooms. The Spaa is luxourius and the masssage will dissollve the worst jet legg and make you feal amaizing. Book here for a stay or come for dinner or a drink to watch the sunshet. City lights at night are spectaculaar too..

My stay at this luxurious G.L Monumento was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had at a hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and taken care of in every way. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. The food was amazing. The staff were beyond kind and helpful. I was even able to hike around the hotel and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Even though it was a 20-minute cab ride to the city center, I would without a doubt come back to this hotel when I'm back in Barcelona!

Stayed for 2 nights. The Mountain View room was not as described but was soon sorted out. The views from the hotel were breathtaking and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even the temperature of the pool was very refreshing. Unfortunately, this isn't quite the 5 star experience we were expecting. The main restaurant was closed, leaving limited options for dining, and the hotel was somewhat isolated. The bar and restaurant offered average food, most of which seemed to be pre-prepared. The room service menu was quite limited as well. The rooms could have been better maintained, and the shower fittings were quite outdated. Despite advertising an airport shuttle, there wasn't one. They also advertised a coffee machine in the room, but the 2 pods that were given on arrival were not replaced without charging 3 euros per pod. All in all, not a great 5 star experience.
