The accommodation was OK for a place to sleep at, but its location made up for it. We had a small bedroom for two of us and experienced some noise coming from the hallways. What was very pleasant though was the friendliness of the staff. Additionally, there was a wonderful cafe right across the street, and the hop-on hop-off bus stopped right outside the hotel. You could also take a bus downtown. It is situated in Gracia, which we really enjoyed. All in all, if you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay and don't need any luxuries, this would be a great option.

We had a wonderful four day stay at this hotel. We were so relieved that all the staff at the front desk were able to speak English as we do not speak Spanish. They were more than willing to help with any requests we had from giving directions to searching for an apartment. Every request was met with a smile and great advice. We really liked everything about it and plan to come back one day.

The staff at Hotel Travessera were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. Security was good and staff seemed to be on top of it. It was conveniently located for both bus services and the metro. It was away from the more touristy areas which made it much more affordable. I would definitely stay again!

We opted for Hotel Travessera for our two night stay in Barcelona and what a mistake it was! To start, we had to leave the building just to get to the elevator that would take us to our room. The room was so small, with a window that had no view, it was hard to tell when it was day or night! But the worst part was when on our way out to dinner someone had left towels in the hallway that had actual sh*t on them! The walls were so thin that it felt like we were in our parents' house and we never knew when they would barge in or when our mom would start vacuuming. Our experience here was so bad that we ended up leaving the next morning and going to a different hotel for our final night; it was so bad we nicknamed it Travesty Hotel of Sh*t!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel Travessera was a great base for my stay in Barcelona.

Hotel Travessera was perfect for my recent trip to Barcelona. It's conveniently located in the Gracia neighborhood, a short walk to Parc Güel, and easily accessible by public transportation. The N24 bus takes you right to the heart of the city, with stops at Casa Batllò, La Rambla, and Plaça Catalunya, as well as four metro lines. The hotel was clean, and the apartment I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped. It had a washing machine, dishwasher, stove, kitchen sink, fridge, and even an iron. Everything was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in the summer heat. I was also impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff was. All in all, Hotel Travessera provided a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
