Catalonia Park Güell

🌟🏨 We had a terrace room near the pool and it was simply 😲! My daughter and I had the best time ever! 🏊‍♀️ The pool was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to Park Güell (a 14-minute walk) and there were plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the town. I would give this place a solid 🔟/🔟!

This accommodation is situated in the heart of Barcelona and conveniently located near two metro stations, making it easily accessible. The surrounding area is also quite lovely. The hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. It's a shame we didn't get to check out the pool during our stay.

The hotel's location was ideal for those looking to be slightly outside of the city center. It was a short 7-minute walk to two metro stations, providing easy access to the bustling center within 10 minutes. It's worth noting that the metro stops running at midnight on weekdays, but runs all night on Saturdays. This may be something to consider if you plan on staying out late, as it's customary to dine around 9:30 or 10 in Barcelona. A taxi ride back from Las Ramblas was only 15€, which was convenient.
The rooms were simple and the beds were comfortable, and they were cleaned daily. However, we did experience some issues such as a faulty remote for the television and a broken safe with no locking mechanism. The lobby area had a strange seating arrangement, but we didn't spend much time there. The small pool was a welcome respite from the hot days exploring the city, but with only 14 sun loungers on different levels, I made sure to take my valuables with me when I went for a swim as they were not visible from the pool. The water was cold, but refreshing in the heat. The pool became quite crowded after 4pm, with some guests even sitting on the floor by the pool. The noise level in the hotel was quite high due to the thin walls. We were not disturbed by the staff and other guests accessing the restaurant for breakfast even though we did not have breakfast included. However, we did have a noisy neighbor one night who was partying until the early hours. I contacted reception and they were quick to address the issue, but due to the thin walls, we could still hear noises from other guests until 5am. The water system was also quite loud and it made it seem like someone was using our bathroom even when they were not.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona if you're on a budget. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel offers a delicious breakfast. The location is great, with a metro and bus station nearby, making it easy to explore the city. The staff, especially Christian at the front desk, are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay in Barcelona.

The staff at the front desk were exceptional! The room was lovely and the view from the pool was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was also very extensive. We highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location is great and it's very convenient to take the metro to the city center.
