The hotel I recently stayed at was awesome! It featured a beautiful hotel, a fantastic shower and an extremely comfy bed. (The junior suite had two single beds placed together instead of one large bed, which was a nice surprise). The location was great too, being right near the designer stores but still close to La Rambla, a great spot for shopping and dining. It was easy to get a taxi for sightseeing, and not far from the Picasso Museum. The staff was friendly and accommodating, while the concierge was very helpful. We had a great time at the rooftop restaurant & bar - the dishes were delicious! The bar downstairs also provided a unique experience, with craft cocktails prepared by an incredibly skilled gent from Romania. Although we didn't get to eat at the 1 or 3 star restaurants this time, the 3 star looked amazing and I'm sure I will give it a try during my next visit to Barcelona. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel - it was an amazing experience and I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at the Monument Hotel in Barcelona recently and I must say it was excellent in all categories. From check-in to my last day, the concierge staff were amazing. The breakfast in the morning was an exceptional 10 out of 10, and room service was also top notch. The location in Barcelona is unbeatable and I will definitely be back. My wife had the time of her life and was in heaven.
This conveniently located accommodation is a classic and beautiful hotel. The staff is always ready to help and make sure your stay is pleasant. Our room was spotless and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was especially good. Unfortunately, we came on a Monday when the primary restaurant was closed, yet we still managed to enjoy a nice meal at their other restaurant.
This hotel offers a great mix of modern interior design and top-notch service. The concierge, Xavi, was especially helpful in giving us great tips on local cafes, arranging tickets for music performances, and booking restaurant reservations - he was exactly what a concierge should be! The rooms are a bit snug but have enough storage for those who are on long trips and need to bring multiple bags. On top of that, the hotel is surprisingly quiet even though it's in the busy city of Barcelona. Definitely worth it!
Our vacation to Barcelona started off in the worst way possible: our 4 year old took a fall during transit from the airport to our accommodation and broke her teeth. Lots of blood, endless crying, in a foreign country with all our luggage. We never felt more helpless. We stemmed the bleeding as best as we could and made our way to the hotel. The concierge saw the blood on my wife's shirt and our crying daughter in my arms and immediately took action. He directed us to the check-in desk, who quickly checked us in despite it being only 1pm. Before we were finished checking in, the concierge had already found a dentist office within walking distance for us. The staff took our luggage, and we went straight the dentist. When we entered our room later in the afternoon after the dentist visit, we found our bed covered in balloons of many colors with a note to our daughter saying how brave of a girl she was. Over the course of our three-night stay, the hotel staff always greeted our daughter with a huge smile, telling her how pretty she is despite her injury. The accommodation was impeccable, but the staff's accommodation of our misfortune and of our daughter was truly next level. I would give it 10 stars if I could.….
