This hotel was great! The beds were really comfortable, and the room was a good size. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and were so pleased by how friendly the staff were. It was a quick 5 minute walk to the nearby attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants to explore. Highly recommend!
While there's no bar here, this hotel is ideally located in a great spot. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Guests can look forward to a generous selection of items at breakfast and rooms that offer a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
This hotel is only a few minutes away from a subway station and makes it incredibly convenient. The staff is incredibly kind and incredibly helpful. I met one of the employees in particular and she was unbelievably friendly and was willing to help in any way she could. During my stay, I encountered an issue where I didn't have hot water for 2 days. Additionally, the rooms could use some renovations as they felt and looked quite old. All in all, it was a decent experience for the price.
rebook, we were told all rooms had been taken and they needed us to pay in cash.
We recently stayed at Hotel Sagrada Familia and had a terrible experience. We booked the room online on the 27th December 2021 for an 8-13 June 1922 stay and settled the payment to be done upon arrival. On the 31st May 2022, a direct violation of the terms set out, the hotel tried to make a payment from the card we had on file without authorisation. When the attempted payment failed, they cancelled the reservation without attempting to contact us or ask for another card. We believe this was due to the high demand and prices of the rooms, resulting from the Primavera festival, so they prioritised potential profits over their customers. When we called to rebook the room, we were told all rooms had been taken and we would need to pay in cash. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed.
Overall, we found the Hotel Sagrada Familia to be in an ideal location for our stay in Barcelona, making it easy for us to get around and visit family. The hotel itself was quite dated with basic amenities such as the bathroom, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. One major downside was the air conditioning, as we found it was set to 23 degrees and could not be changed, making the rooms stuffy and uncomfortable. However, we found the hotel to be generally clean and all the necessary items were provided. For a last-minute budget accommodation it suited our needs, but wouldn’t be our first choice for a longer stay.
