Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona

About
We love it!
Hard to be more centric, two steps from the Ramblas and the Plaça de Catalunya. 91 rooms decorated by Lazaro Rosa, all black and white, marble and leather with sophisticated lightning. Not very large but well distributed. We appreciate this hotel for the atmosphere: à la mode bar, meeting site for locals on Wednesday and Saturday nights, and during summer time the “Bar du Ciel” (Heaven’s bar) animated by local DJ’s to profit of a magnificent view of Barcelona. We love it!

📍 Perfect location 🏨 Lovely hotel 🙌 Minor issue quickly resolved ✨ Charming room & staff 💯 Central to everything - Born, Gothic District & water within walking distance 👌 Will definitely return!
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before our cruise. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient and the staff were extremely friendly, offering great recommendations for dining. The hotel also had a dining room and a lovely bar in the lobby. We opted for the most basic room and were pleasantly surprised upon entering. It was a corner room on the 5th floor with a window facing the rear street and we experienced no noise disturbances from inside or outside the hotel. After a long layover in London, we were exhausted and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was on the smaller side but still had a charming and elegant design. On our second night, we had made reservations at the rooftop bar for some snacks and drinks. The first 15 minutes were fantastic until a singing duo with their children arrived and started performing at an extremely high volume. It's no surprise that most of the locals left when they started singing. It was a shame because the view and service were outstanding, but the loud singing ruined the experience. Checkout was a bit inconvenient as we struggled to get the front desk to call us a cab. They suggested we go across the street to a taxi stand, but with 6 bags in tow, it was quite a hassle. Despite this, the hotel itself was lovely, affordable, and in a perfect location near Las Ramblas. There were plenty of dining options, cafes, and even a supermarket right across the street. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.
This accommodation was top-notch, conveniently located in the heart of the city. Within walking distance, we could easily access the lively Ramblas and charming Plaza de Cataluna. The cleanliness was impeccable and the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, providing exceptional service. The rooftop bar and lobby bar were both fantastic, while the rooms were generously sized.
During our recent trip to Barcelona, I carefully selected our accommodation based on thorough research. The hotel's location was ideal, situated near Plaça de Catalunya. We were able to easily access the hotel from the airport by taking the Aerobus and simply crossing the plaza. This central location allowed us to conveniently explore popular areas such as Barri Gotic, Ramblas, and The Eixample on foot. We found multiple Metro subway stations close by, making it effortless to navigate the city. The hotel's front desk staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival. The lobby offered a spacious lounge area and an adjacent bar which we visited a few times. The staff there were friendly and accommodating. Our room was cozy but on the smaller side. We had just enough space to open two hardcase luggage. However, we were pleased with our street view and small balcony. While there was some noise from a nearby bar, the double-pane glass doors helped to reduce the disturbance. Overall, I would definitely return to this hotel, perhaps opting for a slightly larger room to accommodate our luggage. Highly recommended!
The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from Plaza Catalunya where we were able to easily catch the hop on-hop off bus. The surrounding area also had a variety of great restaurants to choose from. Plus, we were only a couple minutes away from La Rambla. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included made-to-order eggs and coffee.
