Short version - Had an amazing stay at a top-notch hotel. Definitely worth booking, the reviews speak for themselves! Long version - I stumbled upon this hotel while browsing through TripAdvisor and the reviews were so good, I didn't even bother looking at the other 3 hotels I had in mind. And I'm sooo glad I didn't! The percs were incredible (free portable wi-fi, free bike rental, free using the sauna/hot tub each day, free water in the room, little sweet surprises every evening, we were welcomed with a glass of cava upon check-in), the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the bedding/bath products were luxurious. The location is simply amazing, just a few minutes from Plaza Cataluyna but you feel like you're hidden away in the cozy Born neighbourhood, which has tons of authentic spots (not tourist chains!). If you have any question, don't hesitate to talk to the reception, they pointed us in the direction of some incredible dinners and the finest coffee we had during our stay. The rooftop is stunning. The entire hotel is stylish and charming, without being too pricey. Oh, and trust me, you can't miss out on the breakfast - it was absolutely delish and a mix of made-to-order dishes and bakery delights, fresh fruit & juice, yoghurt, meats and cheeses. Almost forgot - every night, they have Wine O'Clock for an hour, where you can enjoy free wine and cheese at their sister hotel next door! It was the perfect happy hour before dinner! We booked a balcony room which was gorgeous and had plenty of space (some hotel balconies barely fit one person, but this one had enough room for two). Hands down one of my best hotel experiences in years. Already counting down the days until my next visit!
