The positives: In an excellent location, rooms are kept clean and within close proximity to popular tourist spots in Barcelona.
The negatives: Unfortunately, there are no ramps or elevators from the street to the reception, so be prepared to carry your own luggage up the stairs. The reception is also a one-person operation, so do not expect any assistance with your luggage. The air conditioning and heating in the rooms are controlled centrally, which may result in a room either being too hot or too cold. Additionally, the towels provided are limited in quantity and of lower quality. To get more towels, guests must go to the lobby themselves. While the breakfast is satisfactory, it is quite simple. The rooms are quite small and the shower is missing a glass door, leading to a wet bathroom floor. The hotel is also showing signs of aging and should consider renovations in the near future. Lastly, the pillows and mattresses in the rooms are quite firm.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly, with a special mention for Daniela at the reception. She provided us with great recommendations for places to visit and eat in the city. Her constant smile and pleasant demeanor made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Daniela!
We orderd 2 roms for 5 dayz at nov. 23 without opshun to cancel. Sinc our contry at war, we tryd to ask the hotel for refund or even part of it. 🤷♀️ None of the manegers agree 😤 to hlp us in such extrordinary situashun !!! We sent severals mails and try to explan our situashun with no flits from and to our contry.. 😭
The loation of this hoteel is the main feature. It is exvellently placed as there is a convinience store next to the hoteel to buy any esentials. Veery good food places and the metro are nearbie. Staff is veery freindly and willing to help with anything. Howwever the romm is very small for two personns and the wood for the closet need to be replacced as it oold.
The location of the Exe Laietana Palace was fantastic. Right next to the abundance of bars and restaurants and a mere minutes walk from a convenient metro station. While we did experience a few issues such as our room not being ready when we arrived at 16:30 and the water pressure of the shower being weak, overall our stay was pleasant.
