Hostemplo Sagrada Familia

This hotel was a great find! We had a room that was spotless and very comfortable. The helpful, friendly staff really made us feel welcomed. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast selection - it wasn't anything special but it was a good deal. We absolutely plan to stay here again in the future.

I was able to check in very early and was kindly welcomed by the staff. I was assigned a room on the second floor, which was small but cozy and had a decent layout for furniture. The balcony was useful, but I mostly kept the shades drawn due to the strong sun. The bed was not too comfortable, the A/C took a while to cool the room down when set at 21 degrees, while the shower had a great pressure but the sink’s pressure was weak. The hotel provided two sets of disposable slippers in the room. In the end, I had a nice stay due to the hotel’s proximity to the Sagrada Familia, and I paid 12.50 euros for breakfast at the Boutique hotel nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I ever visited Barcelona, and I would recommend it to other travelers.

This hotel was just great! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the room was amazing, especially with the spa bath. It was very roomy and the bathroom had pretty LED lights which made the whole experience even nicer. The only issue we had was that, due to the slightly thin walls, we could here the lift, some noises outside, as well as our neighbour's phone alarm in the morning. Overall, stay was great and we highly recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel was a great choice for our stay in Barcelona. It was close to Sagrada Familia and had a Metro stop right nearby which was very handy. The area was filled with wonderful restaurants to explore. Boutique Hostemplo itself is not a chain hotel, but very unique in its own way, located on a quaint street. Our room was sparkling clean and even had a nice balcony. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast offered there was tasty and a great value, and so convenient after a long travel. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

The stay at Boutique Hostemplo Sagrada Familia was a disaster. The room we got was supposedly three star, but it had neither windows nor decent air conditioning. When we asked to change our room, the desk clerk wanted 50 euros more for the 'cleaning fee'. Needless to say, we were not impressed. After I wrote a negative review and left, I went back to charge my cell phone, but the two-prong European adapter had been removed from the charger. This was especially bizarre as the US plug was useless to me. I can only assume that the clerk that I had a problem with earlier removed it as a form of retribution. It was unbelievable.
