Well Worth it!! - ErBear (6 Set 2012 - 10:00)
I lived in Barcelona 9 months and this was by far the best place to see. If you want to understand the Roman influence on the city do the Audio tour here. It's small and not very organized true, but once you make your way down the elevator you won't be disappointed. Free every first Sunday unless they change their minds. I wouldn't trust any Spaniard to be open promptly on a Monday or after a Holiday.

Barcelona is the most beautiful city of Spain. There are many different and cognitive museums. I liked a lot of museums, for example: “The mammoth museum of Barcelona”. There is a varied collection of prehistoric animal skeletons and other remains of the Ice Age. Visitors can touch the teeth and tusk of a mammoth and to see the cave paintings that decorate the walls and ceilings. Also there are a lot of great products from mammoth ivory.

none of the msueums are open on Mondays in Barcelona contrary to what the printed information may say.

This museum is NOT open on Monday, contrary to what is stated on the website. Someone should correct this mistake.
Libre? - Geroge (11 Mar 2011 - 14:45)
Is it true this museum is free for a short period on Sundays? I read that it is free on the first Sunday of the month, but I believe the sign out front says that for five hours after its normally listed closing time on Sundays there is admittance. There was a line so I did not get the opportunity to ask, but I definitely do not want to leave without seeing this museum!

I am doing a project on Spain for my Geography project and I cannot unerstand what the website is saying. Is there any way to translate? When ever I go on the website, Google asks if I want them to translate it, but whenever I let them try, it doesn't work.

roman remains barcelona - Jo Hallett (24 Nov 2008 - 19:00)
This is a brilliant exhibition. It gives a vivid flavour of life in the old roman city of Barcino. It portrays a civilisation with central government, water and sanitation, leisure facilities, food manufacture, wine-making and much else. It is very extensive and superbly presented. visitors walk along glass walkways over the remains, listening to descriptions in their own language.
DON'T MISS THIS!
