Tarragona National Archaeological Museum is the oldest museum in Catalonia of its kind. In its expositions salons it has archaeological pieces of the antique Tarraco, also has some pieces from the Romanization period. One can go along its different salons as you go up to the last floor of the museum.
Salon number 1 has part of the roman walls from its basement, so one can really see the magnitude of those huge walls as one go out of the museum and see the remaining of the walls. In salon number 3 there is the famous "Medusa mosaic". In salon number 4 one can see the every day object used during the roman period and in salon number 5 an example of "Tarraco and the sea", the immense relation of the city with the sea.
