What to Expect

Without a doubt one of Barcelona’s top attractions, Casa Batlló catches the eye of any passer-by. Once inside, the visitor discovers a colourful dream world of curved lines and asymmetric forms, bringing together decorative elements to form an aesthetic but still functional whole.

Dreamt up by Antoni Gaudi, celebrated architect of Catalan Modernism and creator of such emblematic sights as the Sagrada Familia and the Palau Güell and Park, Casa Batlló was originally designed as a family residence at the beginning of the 20th century.

Turned into a museum in 2002, the house today welcomes the visitor with its still surprising originality. The entrance ticket gives you access to this architectural piece of art and its magic, Gaudi and the modernist style of architecture. Enhance your visit with the included video tour to gain deeper insight into stunning details and imagine life in the residence of the Batlló family more than a hundred years ago.

How does it work?

It's very simple. When you are booking, simply select the time slot which you want to visit Casa Battló.

During the booking you must select a time slot; once you enter the selected time, you can stay inside the attraction as long as you wish. After the payment you will receive a ticket with a precise time of entry, which corresponds to the first available time within the indicated range. For example, if you select the time slot 9: 00-10: 45 we will try to issue a ticket for the 9:00 visit; if there is no availability at 9 o'clock, we will send you the ticket for 9:15 am, and so on until you find an available time.
