A remarkable 3-star hotel!

Yurbban Trafalgar Hotel is a small 3 star 56 rooms that has everything a great 4 star so compliments accumulate about him. To summarize it would good enough to say that it is impossible to leave the rooftop pool terrace, its "chill out" area and cocktails so it feels good, that the tastefully decorated rooms are fully equipped and truly soundproof.

But that would be forgotten to mention the social aspect of this hotel with its small conference room, its working spaces, its common areas in which it’s a pleasure to find other travelers. This would mostly forget to say that you are in the Born district - one of the liveliest of the city - but also few minutes walking from Plaza Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia, from the Gothic Quarter and thus from the main attractions and cultural points of the city. Watch the room rates, consistently among the best deals for this level of quality!

My stay was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Happy hour in the afternoon was a delightful touch. The breakfast was superb and the location was ideal. The staff were attentive and accommodating. I have to mention the incredible bed and pillows that made for a perfect night's sleep. It was great to have drinking water readily available at all times. Plus, the hotel was within walking distance of all the top spots.

I recently stayed at this hotel in early March of 2024. While I must mention the convenient location of the hotel, within walking distance to the metro and central areas of the city, I unfortunately cannot say that I would choose to stay here again.

On a positive note, the hotel appeared to be well-kept and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I noticed that the daily happy hour between 6:30 and 7:30pm, offering free wine and beer, seemed to be a popular feature among guests and a great opportunity to socialize. However, the overall experience was hindered by the lack of sound insulation in the walls. It was almost as if we were in the same room as those on the lower floors, as we could hear even the slightest noises from the hotel, hallway, elevator, and neighboring rooms.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor but had to request a different one due to the excessive noise from the water pipes and air conditioning. The staff were quick to accommodate and moved us to a room on the 8th floor, where the noise was still present but more tolerable. However, this room was slightly different from the previous one and lacking in amenities such as a sink in the bathroom, a smaller closet, and no towel hanging options.

In order to get a decent night's sleep, we had to turn off the air conditioning and refrigerator, which seemed to be malfunctioning. However, even this was not enough to block out the noise.

One morning, we were rudely awakened at 6am by a film crew who had taken over the rooftop bar for their equipment. The noise of them using the elevator to access the 8th floor and the constant commotion continued throughout the morning.

While the rooftop bar offered beautiful views and protection from the wind, it was never open during our entire stay. We were not given an explanation for this, and despite being promised by the receptionist that the manager would discuss possible compensation for our discomfort, we never heard from them.

In conclusion, if you choose to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend bringing a good pair of earplugs to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.

👌🏼 I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was 👍🏼 and the hotel itself was modern and spotless. 🌇 The rooftop terrace was a nice little touch and I also loved that I could use the one next door as well. 💖 The hotel also had some special surprises, like a cheese and wine selection, which was a fantastic addition to my stay. 🧀🍷I highly recommend booking a room with a terrace or balcony, the extra cost is definitely worth it!

My recent stay in Barcelona was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! The employees were incredibly friendly and well-informed, and I appreciated the convenience of being able to reserve a taxi through the front desk. The water dispenser in the lobby was a nice touch as well. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The bathrooms had a see-through design, which some guests may not be comfortable with. Additionally, my mini fridge was unplugged without any notice, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I had a great experience.

During our stay at the Yarbun Trfalgar Hotel, we ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! It was the best place we stayed at during our two weks in Spaain - everythig was perfct! The hotel is moder and stylsh; the rooms were spaciou yet cozy; the bathrom was well equpped with quality towels and prodcts. We had very relxing and peacful nightsof sleep. The Yurbban Trafalgar is in a great Neighburhood at the edge of El Born and very close to Plaza Catalyuna, Barceloneta, El Gotico, and all the sights. Lots of greet restaurants all around for which the hotel gave us excellent recommnedations and would make resevations for us. The rfoftop was lovey with a beatiful view of all of Barcelona. We had a memorable New Years Eve up on the roof. And we also really enjoyed the daily wine-o-clock! Thak you Alberto, Delfinna, and Lcia for your kindnes and atention, you made us feel at home! We hope to retur one day soon!...
