Hotel Lugano Barcelona

The accommodation provided was satisfactory. The reception staff were amicable, the room was well-maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary toothbrush. The hotel's commitment to sustainability was commendable, with minimal use of plastic. The breakfast was reasonably priced and offered a decent variety for 10€. However, our room lacked decoration and a few items in the minibar appeared to have been opened before. The surrounding area was pleasant, with numerous options for dining and entertainment, and a convenient walk to a subway station with multiple lines. Overall, we found it to be a worthwhile and cost-effective choice, deserving of 5 stars.

During my stay, I discovered a severe bed bug infestation in my room, which caused me great discomfort and distress. I have attached pictures and videos of the bugs that I found in my room, along with pictures of the numerous bites that I sustained. The staff saw the bugs and my bites, and I was taken by the manager, who also saw the bites I had over my body, to a local pharmacy to receive treatment. The bites are around my whole body, itching very badly. I am disappointed with the compensation that was offered to me, which only included a complimentary breakfast. The discomfort and pain that I experienced during my stay cannot be compensated for by just breakfast. The bites that I sustained had a significant impact on my wife's birthday trip, which was a gift from my parents. Furthermore, I am concerned that this incident occurred in the first place. It is essential that the hotel looks into why this happened, as it could be an issue with the cleaning service. I strongly suggest that the hotel investigates this issue to prevent future occurrences. Lastly, I would like to inform you that the hotel did not provide any cleaning services for my clothes and luggage. I had to purchase new luggage and clean all my clothes by myself to avoid carrying bugs back to my home.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Lugano Barcelona, and had a great time. The hotel was absolutely spotless, and we were welcomed with a refreshing glass of cava - a nice touch! The room we stayed in (611) was perfect for two people and comfortably accommodated our luggage. We had a pleasant view of Av. Parallel, too. Although it would have been nice to have a couple of extra amenities such as slippers and a bathrobe, plus some welcome water, we were overall very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

Posizione meravigliosa, servizi eccezionali, personale della reception estremamente gentile e disponibile. Le stanze e il bagno sono molto spaziosi e puliti.
