Stayed here for 3 day/nite sightseeing trip to Barcelon with partner. After being dropped a couple of blocks away by the airport transfer, we were releived when eventually fround this lovely, clean, contempary but small BnB hotel (not a hostel). It is on the first floor of an beautiful old building in the Eixample area, and is an excellant location for getting around the city. Around 7 mins walking distance to the main square Placa de Catalunya, from which you can acess all the main transport links in the city, la rambla and the gothic quarter. It is also walking distance (30 mins) to Sagrada Familila and only 2 blocks away from Casa Batllo. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpfull, giving tips on what to do/avoid whilst travelling around. If on a late/early flight, bags can be left safetly at the hotel prior to or after check in. We stayed in room 2 which is furnished in a very contempary style, very comfortabel bed, nice lighting and small balcony where we enjoyed sitting out watching the city zoom by. It is very loud on this corner due to traffic when the balcony door is open but shutting the doors, you forget youre in a busy city. There is cold water, hot drinks, juice, fruit and yoghurts availabel at all times and the self service breakfast is also lovely, continental selection. I even attemptd to make pancakes which we enjoyed out on the comunal terrace. Iron was availabel. Good, large, powerful shower. The rooms have everything we neded as a base for exploring the city but we didnt spend a great ammount of time there. No safe on the room and lack of storage space but we actualy brought the table from the balcony indoors to put some clothes onto. Whilst in Barcelona, I'd recommend the city sight seeing busses hop-on/hop-off busses for getting a great overall view of the city. The cable cars up to Montjuic offer a spectacualr view of the city.Overall, a wonderfull trip made better by this fab little hotel. Will look no further than this hotel on our next trip to the city!...
This small, reasonably-priced accommodation is conveniently situated near Las Ramblas and various other points of interest in Barcelona. Finding it was a bit tricky, since we had to walk a fair distance after being dropped off by the airport shuttle. The room was a bit tiny but clean; those requiring lift access will find that this hotel caters to them. There are self-service breakfast facilities and a nice terrace for outdoor dining under the sun. Additionally, the area also has many excellent tapas bars within reach.
The location of this accommodation in Barcelona's Eixample district was great - just a few minutes walk from Plaça Cataluña. From the outside, it seemed like an old large apartment, occupying the first floor, with eight rooms available to rent. The room we got faced the street, with a small balcony. The decor was smart and industrial. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise! We thought it would just be coffee and muffins, but there was a fantastic selection of different options. Considering the price, the value for money was excellent. We will be back!
My friend and I visited Barcelona two weeks ago and honestly we didn’t know what to expect when we booked the hotel! Absolutely perfect! Easy to find and centrally located. We loved everything about this little hotel. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel welcomed. There was a kitchen which was open 24 hours where you could have cold water, juice, yogurt or cereals with milk. Definitely we’re going to choose this hotel for our next visit in Barcelona!
This hotel is situated in an ideal location within the heart of Barcelona on the first floor of a residential building. It has a small but tranquil atmosphere, with friendly staff and modern rooms. When I arrived, I found the room spotlessly clean with contemporary furnishings. There were no sounds in the night which I presume is owing to the fact that the room faced an interior courtyard. At breakfast there was a reasonable selection of typical breakfast food plus the availability to enjoy it outside on the terrasse. Plus, there are free snacks and refreshments available at any time. Taking the cost into account, this was a great choice.
