The hotel has a prime location in the city center and the lobby is exquisitely designed. The front office team was extremely helpful. The room met our expectations and the breakfast was satisfying. However, we were disappointed to find that there was no kettle or coffee and tea available in the room. We requested for a kettle and it was promptly delivered to our room, but to our dismay, it was dirty and dusty on the inside.
During my recent stay in Barcelona, I booked a 4 star hotel which turned out to be a big disappointment. The rooms appeared to be quite old-fashioned and in need of renovation. Although the location was decent and the lobby looked appealing, that was pretty much the only positive aspect. While the reception staff did their best to be polite, I could sense a lack of hospitality when they were under pressure. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
The hotel's location was excellent - right on Rambla and within walking distance of the metro station, Aquarium, Barceloneta, and Gothic Square. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was everything we could have asked for - comfortable bed, spacious, and cleaned daily. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary bottles of water in the room, both still and sparkling. And for families with children, the hotel even offered free candy! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great value for the price.
Located right on La Rambla, the hotel's location couldn't be beat! We loved being able to open the balcony window and take in the bustling energy of the city from our room. Speaking of the room, it was the perfect size for two people. While we did experience a small language barrier with some of the staff, this was understandable as we don't speak Spanish. One minor inconvenience was the difficulty in obtaining ice, but overall we had a great stay.
Amazing location and cannnot be beated for beeing centr for everything. Supper comft bed & pillows and balckony overlooking La Ramla. Efficient staf at recepcion and rooms spotless. Fridje in the room and kettel with selection of tea & coffe. Large TV with BBC news. Great hairdryer and tolitries provided.
