🚫 Definitely not the best experience 😕 The location was great, but the beds were 💤 so uncomfortable I barely slept during our 3-night stay. The rooms were also very noisy 🙉 I could hear everything from outside and from neighboring rooms, including the shower and toilet. The hotel and rooms were clean, but the bathroom had a strong smell of dampness that made me feel sick in the mornings 🤢 There was also no ventilation, which didn't help. 💄 Plus, there was no mirror at the dressing table, so I had to do my hair and makeup at the other side of the room. For the price we paid for 3 nights, this was quite disappointing 😞 The only positives were the friendly staff and a nice rooftop bar 🍸

The hotel I stayed at in Barcelona could be rated as a 2-star or maybe even a 3-star at most. There were some positive aspects, such as its perfect location and a clean room with a nice view of La Rambla. However, I have to say that the breakfast and food in general were a disappointment. As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels, I can confidently say that this was the worst in terms of food quality. Apart from a few slices of plain bread with canned tuna and some eggs, there was very little to fill my stomach. The salads and fruits seemed to be leftovers from the previous day, stored in the fridge and brought out again the next day. For a hotel with a 4-star rating on the main street of Barcelona, where we paid 1000€ for 4 nights, I expected a better breakfast experience.

Additionally, the staff at the restaurant and buffet were quite unfriendly. It felt like they didn't care about the guests and were constantly watching us with raised eyebrows. On the other hand, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, our experience at this hotel was a bit disappointing.

We absolutely adored our stay in the Hotel Serhs Rivoli Rambla in Barcelona! The sixth floor double balcony room we stayed in provided a stunning view of La Rambla. The bed, pillows, and linen were incredibly comfortable, making it difficult for us to leave in the mornings. Our room was impeccably cleaned every day, a welcoming sight after a long day of exploring the city. Our favorite part of our downtime at the hotel was sipping drinks on the roof terrace bar, all thanks to the wonderful Jordi! He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, giving us fantastic recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and transportation. We truly hope Jordi is still a part of the Hotel Serhs Rivoli team the next time we visit. He is truly an asset to the hotel.

👎🚫 We had a terrible experience at this hotel! 🙅‍♀️ The only good thing was the breakfast, but the rest was just horrible. 😬 We made the mistake of choosing a room with a "garden view" or "partial view" and ended up facing a backyard with an escalator 👀 or the elevator. Plus, the bathroom window opened to the corridor. 🤦‍♀️ Location was the only positive thing about this place, but it's definitely not worth it. On our last day, we left our bags at reception and were reassured they would be safe. 🤞 However, when we came back, our bagpack was nowhere to be found. 😡 The hotel manager offered us a drink and asked us to make a police report, but we found out later that our bag was actually stolen from the hotel. 😱 The manager promised to contact their insurance company for compensation, but they never followed through. 🤷‍♀️ After weeks of trying, we finally got in touch with the new manager. 🙏 But they arrogantly refused our claim, blaming us for the theft. 😤 Despite numerous calls and emails, we never received proper assistance from the hotel or their "friendly" staff. 📞📧🤬 This kind of treatment towards guests is unacceptable! 🤮 And to top it off, you can't even enter the hotel without a room card or reception's permission, so how did someone manage to steal from us? 🤔 Avoid this place at all costs!

The hotel experience was quite an interesting one. The staff at check-in seemed friendly enough and the room was clean and functional for our weekend trip. However, we weren't planning on spending much time at the hotel, as there were many activities to do in the city. On our second evening, I needed an iron and called reception for assistance. I was told there were no ironing boards but an iron would be brought up to our room. After waiting 25 minutes and unsuccessfully trying to call reception, I went down to the front desk. To my surprise, there was no one there. After waiting for a few minutes, I saw some activity from a room around the corner and eventually the receptionist emerged. I patiently waited while he served someone who had entered after me. When it was finally my turn, I asked about the iron and was given a flippant response. I was told that the staff member who does various tasks in the hotel was busy fixing a plumbing issue and wouldn't be able to bring me an iron until after he had dinner. I asked politely if the receptionist could get the iron for me, but he refused, stating that he couldn't leave the front desk. After some back and forth, he eventually went to get the iron. I had to iron my shirt on the bed, which was inconvenient as we were already running late for a dinner reservation. Later that evening, we returned to the hotel for our complimentary glass of bubbles. However, we waited for 20 minutes while the barman attended to other tasks like serving drinks to locals and making cocktails. Finally, after reminding him, we received our glasses. On the third day, we woke up to make tea and coffee but found there was no milk available. My partner went to the bar to ask for some and was told to wait, but only a coffee was brought after 15 minutes. When she asked for the tea, she was told to make it herself in the room. We left the next day feeling underwhelmed by the service. The staff need more training and the hotel should consider hiring more staff. My partner left a constructive review on booking.com about the value for money and suggested improvements, and the hotel even called to offer a 10% refund as a gesture of goodwill. However, the next day they called again and asked her to remove the review in exchange for the refund. This is completely unethical and we will not be staying here again.
