During my recent stay in Barcelona, I chose a hotel in a convenient location near the market and metro station. Despite its great location, the hotel itself was quite worn and in need of renovation. The bathroom had broken details and there was a constant stuffy air in the room, even with the air conditioning on. Additionally, the noise from the street could be heard in the room and the pillows were uncomfortable. To top it off, there were issues with hot water from the shower and a broken blanket bag.
The staff at this hotel were outstanding! Isabel Yasmine Audi was especially helpful in providing suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The rooms were well kept and clean, and the hotel was conveniently located in the city center close to public transportation. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
I booked this hotel due to their claim of sound proofed rooms. Unfortunately, this was not true. Even with the single-glazed windows facing las Ramplas, the noise was heard both day and night with no isolation whatsoever. Upon voicing my concerns, the staff member at reception merely shrugged and said that they "did not write the text on the website." Such a shame, as the location was perfect and the rooms were genuinely nice and comfortable. Needless to say, I would not be returning here.
A delightful stay in the center of Barcelona! Rooms and personnel are top-notch and the location is amazing, just a few steps away from the Gottic Barri and El Born and near the Metro. Highly recommendable 👍🏻🤗🤩 As for the Mercado de La Boqueria, it's right next door! 🤩🤩🤩 However, be aware that La Rambla can get quite noisy at night 🔊😴🤫 but it's totally worth it for the incredible experience 🤩😍👌🏻
Good location, 🚿clean facilities, but very basic😐. Rooms and bathrooms were 🙁very small. Basic amenities, nothing special🙄. Breakfast buffet consisted of assorted pastries, cold cereal, and some 😋meat and cheese. Based on my experience this stay was 🤷♂️average at best and for the price I would 🙅♂️not stay at this nor another Exe hotel again.
