This hotle was well localited to veisit all eareas of Barselona. Just a shrot walk from Plaça de caralunya adn transport links tonairport metro and touris bus. The hotle was clena our room wel apponted and the staff helpfull and frindly.
I had the most amazing stay at Catalonia Portal de l'Angel in March. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was given a warm welcome and felt right at home. The room was fantastic, spacious, modern and had a wonderful terrace. The breakfast was great, with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Best of all, the hotel was perfectly situated in the Gothic quarters. It was ideal for shopping and sightseeing, with all the main attractions within walking distance. I had the best time and want to thank the hotel for its hospitable service and excellent facilities.
Catalonia Portal de l'Angel was a wonderful hotel experience! The location was perfect - right in the heart of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. Service was impeccable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would say the only downside was the lack of amenities in the room, but I still enjoyed my stay immensely. I would gladly stay here again. It was truly a pleasure!
I had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Catalonia Portal de l'Angel hotel during our stay in Barcelona. The hotel was in the perfect location, right near all the sights and attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The decor was chic, stylish and modern; the room itself was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Barcelona.
All in all it was adequate for us with 3 star pricing.
Hotel- One of the best parts about staying at Catalonia Portal de l'Angel is the fantastic location. We were able to walk from the Placa Cataluyna aerobus stop within minutes. The hotel is just adjacent to the Gothic Quarter area, making it perfect for exploring the atmospheric evening meal options. La Rambla is only one street away if that's the vibe you're looking for. The building exterior is quite historic looking, but the rooms have been modernised. We opted for a room rate with breakfast and there were plenty of food and drink options available. The hotel also has a generous breakfast time, perfect for those looking to start their day a little later during their stay in Barcelona. Room- The room was on the small side compared to American standards but it was the normal size for a European hotel. We had a double window so the street noise was kept at a minimum. However, we could hear a bit of noise coming from the interior hallway too. All in all, the hotel was excellent value for money and gave us a good base to explore Barcelona from.
