Hotel Denit Barcelona

This hotel is in a superb location at the start of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and just moments away from Plaça de Catalunya. It has great quality for a three star, but if you opt for a room accommodating three people then be warned – the extra bed is horrendous! Two guests is more than enough for this spot, however.

This hotel had a fantastic location right off of placa catalunya and in the Barri gotic area. The staff were friendly, always providing excellent service and reception. The room provided plenty of space and all the necessary conveniences. It was also clean and tidied up every single day. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the soundproofing of the rooms, allowing noise from adjoining rooms and light from the corridor to seep in.

PROS: Staff was always lovely and attentive. CONS: Beds are too hard. Even though the hotel looks nice, there are still some room-related issues. The superior plus room we booked had two twin beds, but we were given a superior room with only one bed, and the toilet was in front of it. All the lights are controlled by one switch. Also, the shower doesn't have a proper drainage system, so unpleasant odours come up when not in use. We had to put a towel over the drain to avoid this. Finally, the breakfast was average and not worth the price, though there was fresh fruit. All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying here due to these issues, especially if you want a comfortable sleep.

We stayed at Hotel Denit Barcelona and had an excellent time. The location was perfect for our party of 8 plus there were plenty of dining choices nearby. The hotel itself was charming and the staff were very friendly. Our stay was great value for money and we'd definitely recommend it. The one thing I couldn't get my head around was the coffee machine in the room, but it wasn't a big deal. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Denit Barcelona. The location couldn't be better, as it's literally next to Plaça de Catalunya and all the tourist attractions. The room I stayed in was lovely and spacious, with modern amenities and stylish decor. There wasn't much of a view but that didn't matter much because I was out exploring Barcelona all the time. Additionally, there was a mini-fridge which was really helpful during my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for me. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Barcelona.
