I did not like how long it took to check in and out of the hotel, but overall this was a positive experience. It was the perfect place for me to stay for my business trip to Barcelona. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated the prompt response to my request for assistance. The hotel is modern, beautiful, and stylish, and it’s close to many attractions. I enjoyed the great food at the restaurant, and I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi. The pool was nice and big so I could cool off in the afternoon. The value for the money was excellent. All in all, I will definitely stay here again if I visit Barcelona in the future.
The restaurant is also very nice and the food is excellent. Great view of the city from the terrace. Highly recommend this place and I'm looking forward to returning.
I had the pleasure of staying at the K + K Hotel Picasso El Born, and could not be more pleased with the experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was especially friendly and accommodating. They were so helpful with their knowledge and ability to translate, and truly made our stay enjoyable. The restaurant had an amazing view of the city, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel, and am already looking to planning my return visit!
windows were open but nothing too disturbing. The room was modern and comfortable. The staff were always pleasant and polite and really helpful.
We had originally booked to stay at K+K Hotel Picasso El Born in April 2020, but, as we all remember, things changed that year. So, when we finally decided to reorganise our trip, we decided to stay at the same hotel, and I'm so glad we did. Ideally situated near the train station, situated at the bottom of the road, and with a tour bus stop right outside of the main doors, this hotel really ticked all the boxes. Plus, there was a beautiful park across the road and fantastic eateries and bars out the back of it. To top it off, the hotel did the best variety of mojitos, which soon became our nightly nightcap. The hotel also offers fantastic views from the roof, with a small pool and decking. We stayed on the fourth floor at the front of the hotel, with a small juilette balcony, though there was some road noise when the windows were open, but nothing too bad. The room itself was modern and comfortable, and the staff were always pleasant, polite and really helpful.
Stayed here for four nights and was really impressed. The location can't be beaten - situated in the heart of El Born you're close to all the best shops, restaurants, and attractions. The reception staff were so accommodating, always ready to help with any questions. I was staying in Room 222 on the second floor, which was comfortable and clean, but I could hear quite a bit of noise from the street. If I go back, I'd definitely book a room on the fifth floor - much more peaceful. Breakfast was really good and the roof terrace and pool area were amazing, with incredible views of the city. Highly recommend this hotel, great stay overall!
The downside to staying at the K+K Hotel Picasso El Born was the large presence of homeless people around the area. Additionally, there was an early check in fee. However, the upside far outweighed the cons. The room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was quite good, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the Born neighbourhood which is full of bars and restaurants. It's also only about a 12-15 minute walk to the central bus station, making it a great option for those taking a tour at Montserrat. All in all, it was a great place to stay.
