A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

We stayed for a few nights prior to joining our cruise and were very pleased with our accommodations. The hotel was situated close to many attractions, as well as a range of restaurants and bars. Getting to the port was also conveniently easy with taxis galore. Our room was spotless and pleasant, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming and supportive.
This hotel is nestled in the old town / Gothic district, making it an ideal location for those wanting to explore the area. We were more than pleased by the professionalism and superb service we received from everybody we interacted with. In particular, the front desk staff were very helpful. We were impressed by Tito and his welcoming attitude when we visited the roof top bar. The only downside was that some taxi drivers had issues finding the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Catedral Hotel in Barcelona. Right in the heart of the beloved Gothic Quarter, it offered the perfect base for sightseeing, shopping and indulging in delicious restaurants. Not to mention, the rooms were fantastic, the buffet breakfast marvellous and the restaurant had an outstanding menu - the food was also delicious! Of special mention are the two amazing staff members, Honey and Jimmy, whose friendly and courteous service made the stay all the more exceptional. I highly recommend Catalonia Catedral Hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
My stay at this Barcelona hotel was delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Jose, Tiuo, and Marcel really outdid themselves in making our stay absolutely perfect. The pool was the ideal place to relax! The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable. All in all, it was an amazing hotel experience - to top it off, the breakfast was incredibly delicious.
I had a great stay at this centrally located hotel! It was within walking distance of many places so it was very convenient 🚶♀️. The size of the pool was a bit small 🤔, but overall the place was clean 🧹 and the staff were very friendly 👍. Breakfast was also solid 🥞. I strongly recommend this one 👍!
