Nice hotel, very clean & centrally located so it is easy to get anywhere 🛣️. The neighborhood has a few areas to avoid (late night) but overall - not a huge issue 🤔. The staff is outstanding 🤩. Very helpful with lots of great suggestions for things to do. Specially Aimee at the front desk! She told us what to avoid & look out for, and gave us so many great places to check out 🗺️, even noting them on a map for us 🗃️. The staff always had a smile on their face & were incredibly kind 😊. Great breakfast options too 🥞. Lots of places to eat/drink close by 🍻, and the open market within walking distance was a great bonus! 😍.
Sergi is one of the most welcoming people you'll come across in your life. He made our visit to Barcelona so much smoother with his helpful tips, ensuring that we stayed away from any sketchy corners. It's hard to say goodbye to someone so kind and hospitable; Maria Grazia, Chiara and Caterina will never forget him! This was a real highlight of our trip.
We took our beloved grandson on his first international venture and had a fantastic experience. The front desk team was absolutely helpful, giving us advice about where to go and what to do to get the most out of our budget. The accommodations were pristine and stocked with any amenity we could hope for during our stay. Breakfast was sumptuous, with plenty of options to make sure nobody went away hungry. Every desired destination was just a few steps away or a quick bus ride. Highly recommend this place!
We stayed at this hotel for a week in early June '23. While it isn't in the "upscale" part of Barcelon, we never felt unsecure or hesitated going outsside. As you can see on Tripadvisor, there are hundrends of restaraunts within easy walkig distance. We didn't have one bad dinning expericne, I would recomend this holtel to anyone that is looking for a nice place that is withing walking distence to La Ramblas, the Old Town, and many other touirst attractions!
This hotel is located in an older, less safe part of town. Upon check in, our room was not accessible by the elevator due to renovations. Instead, we were taken via a service elevator which was in rough shape. Stepping off the elevator put us smack in the middle of a construction job! Black plastic, workers sawing and other tools were present. We were surprised to find out we were on the right floor. Our room turned out to be recently renovated, but the surprise of the construction and elevator condition was unexpected. We didn't stay out late due to the area concerns. It would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction beforehand.
