@W stott
Hello W stott, Only fans of the visiting team's nationality are strictly forbidden to buy tickets. If you are not Ukrainian, you can buy your tickets for the FC Barcelona vs FC Shakhtar Donetsk match. Best,

An incredible day at the Colonia Güell
What an incredible day at the Colonia Güell! I came with my family, and we were all impressed by Gaudí's creativity. The children loved the crypt, and we took so many photos. The church is also a must-see. It's a great place for a family day out.

I really do recommend a visit.
We don't talk enough about this palace, which is really very beautiful... Unfortunately, the façade was being restored at the time of our visit but the interior is simply magical. The price is a bit high, but like many monuments and museums in Barcelona, it's worth it.

I would have loved to have seen some corridas
No more bullfights for years... sad... I think José Tomas was the last to fight here for a memorable bullfight... This place has the merit of still existing for shows.It's an impressive building that could hold up to 24,000 people. Rather well preserved, admission costs €6.

for the lovely view of Barcelona
A lovely view of Barcelona and its port, but no real interest in the design of the building, which remains a military defence building.

An oasis of peace in Barcelona
Monasteri Sant Pau del Camp is an oasis of peace in Barcelona, a marvellous little cloister (look for the frog at the foot of one of the original pillars). You are transported back in time in this little monastery of El Raval which once stood in the fields outside the walls of Barcelona, hence its name ... one of the wonders of Barcelona.

  2. food is really good - vincent greg (14 Apr 2015 - 10:40)

    Foods are really delicious and waht a place to discover spanish wine. We had an organic one, I don't remember the name today, but a surprising one. Good experience.

  3. my best dessert in town - teresa sevilla (11 Feb 2011 - 10:45)

    I must congratulate the chef and the Torres family for making this place a destination, although is it in the best Barcelona Boulevard and across one of the colorful Gaudi's buildings -hard to miss location- no passer by can ignore this gorgeous Vinoteca. The food is exquisite the drinks and dessert impeccable, I photographed my dessert, a chocolate gateau with an array of the sherries tastes, what a fabulous concoction! and emailed this photo to my American friends to make them jealous. No restaurant in San Francisco where I reside, has yet come out with a creative dessert like this. I encourage Ms. Torres to duplicate her Vinoteca in SF, after all she lives close by. I frequent her " bodega" in Sonoma, and would love to participate on its design if she allows me. My contact teresa@sevilla-architect.com

    I would add in the menu a Pisco Sour drink, it's missing in her Barcelona Vinoteca.

  4. DELICIOUS FOOD - A Visitor from the US (13 Jul 2009 - 19:50)

    Tom and I just popped in to see if we could use the bathroom....we decided to have a drink. I loved visiting this place! We were lucky enough to come for a quick bite to eat in the early afternoon. The food is absolutely delicious and the Torres Mojito was refreshing. 5/23/09
