Kochi 44 Restaurant Lounge is a restaurant opened during the later months in 2016. It is located behind the Ramblas and just before the most authentic Rabal of Barcelona. The situation makes them have an offer that covers the tourist necessities as well as locals and workers that look for a good place and a good price for a good menu.

What gets our attention is the large and nice terrace. Inside, and in order to discover public demand, we find two very different atmospheres. One has a cafeteria with high tables thought to have a quick meal, and the other is the formal restaurant.

The decor is very simple. It is long and connects with Dinne in Dark, the second restaurant in Barcelona where you eat with total darkness. On working days, Kochi 44 restaurant Lounge offers a daily menu for 13€, with a choice of 4 entries, 4 main courses, dessert and coffee. It is also possible to eat a la carte, with courses to share, tapas and some sandwiches. The list is not long, but varied.

The most typical tapas are present. We can find gambas a la plancha or octopus parmentier. To complete your meal, you can combine it with a quinoa salad, avocado and dried tomato, or something more consistent, like a good fish. It is a good choice for two persons, and prices will be about 20€ per person. They also have a special menu at night for 15,90€. Kochi 44 Restaurant Lounge is a good option to enjoy a good and simple meal. Without getting far from the centre of Barcelona, it is a good stop to rest.
