What to Expect

Unmistakable landmark of Barcelona and absolute highlight on any visit to the city, the Sagrada Família attracts millions of visitors every year. Walk past the queues and enter the awe-inspiring basilica and the towers of Gaudí’s incomparable masterpiece.

Construction of the church started in 1882 and turned under Gaudí into an unparalleled architectural project, which remains unfinished until the present day. His idea of harmoniously combining geometric forms and light, Christian belief and nature is visible throughout the basilica’s design, joining religious symbols and naturalistic elements. Even though only eight of the planned 18 towers have been finished, the Sagrada Família is already one of the tallest religious buildings in the world and once finished, its spires will rise 172.5 metres above the ground.

Your entrance ticket will give you fast track access to the breathtaking interior of the basilica, the school and the museum. What used to be Gaudí’s workshop, now hosts a collection of models, drawings and photographs, documenting the construction of the Sagrada Família. Your ticket also includes an audio guide and, of course, admission to one of the two towers, open to the public, to enjoy the spectacular view over Barcelona from 65 metres above.

How does it work?

In order to ensure a pleasant visit for everyone, the monument assigns timeslots. Therefore, please select the date and  time you would like to visit when you book your entrance ticket.

The timeslot only fixes the time you enter the building. Once inside, you can stay as long as you want.
