Opened in 1963, the worldwide oldest Picasso Museum welcomes its visitors in five medieval city palaces in Barcelona’s La Ribera quarter. Its collection comprises 4,251 works, including paintings, drawings, engravings and ceramics, from Picasso’s early years between 1890 and 1917. 
 
From here, take the panoramic bus and get easily to Barcelona’s many other attractions, like the Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Camp Nou. You only need one ticket to use the three lines of the official Bus Turístic and hop on and off at 45 different stops throughout the city. Get more information onboard through the included audio guide and the helpful staff of Barcelona’s tourist office.

How does it work?

The timeslot only fixes the time you enter the building. Once inside, you can stay as long as you want.

  • no service on December 25 and January 1
  • roundtrip about 2h, 40 minutes on the green line
  • The green line only runs from March to November.
