On the cathedral square, Bilbao-Berria is another terrace that is very appreciated by locals. Very colorful and delicious pintxos. Try also seafood. Just fine.

Perfect Pinchos

Heving eaten pinchos in their motherland over in San Sebastien, I was delighted to find that Barcelona had got its own version. Bilbao Berria was absolutely spot on in both variety and value. I highly recommend the baby eels - like tiny fishy spaghetti!

We ate upstairs in the bar - much more informal and atmospheric than the restaurant downstairs - and 4 of us ate for less than 25€ each, including plenty of decent house red.

Highly recommendable, referring to the review on my website. Bilbao Berria serves maybe the best tapas / pinxtos I have tasted. Very good location. Low prices. Is a must if visiting Bilbao.

Very nice place to spend an evening. Especially on the outside terrace. Tasty and fresh pintxos which you can pick from plates.

Very nice place! Marvelous food, in fact the best "tapas" restaurant that I've been in Spain.
