Ra is very well situated behind the Boqueria market, this hype bar has an horribly arrogant service and sells canned food for quite high prices, very disappointing. Go for Rita Rouge next door. Ms

I must say that i'm also suprised with all the negative comments i've just read about Ra. For me it's an absolutly MUST in Barcelona. The service is great and the food is quite good. A trip to Barcelona isn't complete without a dinner at Ra. At least that's what i think.

I really like Ra - I have tried Rita Rouge several times when it first opened and gave up as the service was terrible (there was a gap of 40 minutes between the first of our group receiving their food and everyone receiving their), and I think the prices are pretty much the same.

Restaurante Ra Barcelona

I am very surpriced to see a negative comment on this very nice place. We went at first to the restauant next door, but all though we were just seated they would not le us switch to a table in the sun (februar month). So we went to Ra and they were eager to find a good table and the food was excellent. We had a great salat, the main course was a dorada, fresh and tasty. And the dessert was not worse than what you get elsewhere. Most foreign sweet dishes are too sweet for a danish taste.

Je suis surprise de votre critique sur la RA. J'y vais chaque fois que je m'arrête à Barcelone, pour le plaisir du lieu, l'ambiance et le service sympathique. Et pour ce qui est de la cuisine, j'en garde un bon souvenir, pas du tout ce sentiment de cuisine en boîte... J'ai envoyé des amis y manger récemment et ils ont été contents du service et de la cuisine. Eux aussi sont amateurs de bonne bouffe!
Alors, je ne sais pas vraiment ce que l'on doit en penser....
Si c'est un peu cher, il faut aussi compter le lieu dans le prix, ce resto est particulièrement bien placé comme vous le dites, et les gens se ruent sur la terrasse au premier rayon de soleil, en rentrant du marché!
