El Born is a favorite area for lovers of Barcelona nightlife. Nowadays the Born is even more packed with bars, though it's nice that places like the Miramelindo are still there, largely unchanged. Is was also a site of the executions and witch burning in medieval times.

Do not miss it and walk along its narrow streets full of very fashionable stores and restaurants.

If you are in the Born area of Barcelona and love the idea of chocolate you cannot miss this museum! This is a complete indulgence for chocolate lovers like myself. This museum is now in what was a convent and they have transformed it into a one of a kind walk through of the history of chocolate! Dont forget to go into the Museum's cafe for a thick warm cup of chocolate!
