Spanish F-1 Grand Prix : the Circuit de Catalunya at Montmelo
In 1991 Spanish F-1 Grand Prix moved to a new home just 12 miles north of Barcelona - the Circuit de Catalunya at Montmelo, which Catalunya boasts a total of fourteen grandstands, with a capacity for 67,730 spectators.
It has the best possible grandstands with direct view of giant TV screens, the race broadcast through the megaphones, adjacent restaurants and bars, self-service and picnic possibilities and excellent parking facilities to offer for spectators to fully enjoy the awesome F-1 event that usually takes place by April. In 2005 a spanish pilot, Fernando Alonso won the world title.. You can imagine the atmosphere in Barcelona during the Grand Prix!!
