A quiet central hideaway at the heart of Barcelona.
The Degas I apartment is a quiet and perfectly situtated apartment making it a perfect base to explore all Barcelona has to offer. Central to all the major tourist attractions of the old town and gothic quarter, any guest will be glad of the location.
The area surrounding the apartment:
The Degas I apartment is situated in the heart of the Barrio Gotico (Gothic Quarter) which really is the true heart of Barcelona. It is located on Paseo de Colon amidst a concentration of medieval Gothic buildings only a few blocks from Paseo del Born. The Gothic area is a maze of interconnecting dark streets linking with squares, and there are plenty of cafés and bars and small unique boutiques. The apartment itself is across the street from the Port, just two blocks from the amazing gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, near the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral. Additonally, guests can look upon the beautiful yachts moored in the exclusive Barcelona Marina as they step out of the apartment building directly onto Paseo de Colon.
The apartment:
The Degas I apartment, as well as the Degas II, has been completely renovated and modernized while carefully conserving the original charm of its 1900's architecture, the building also comes with elevator. The Degas I apartment is perfect for a couple, a couple with a child or two couples with one couple sleeping in the living room. The dining and living area of the Degas apartment share the same space and the look that has been created for this relaxing area is one of modern clean lines, keeping everything simple and tasteful.
The bedroom has a queen sized bed and the living room a comfortable couch. The great decor and attention to detail in the Degas I apartment make it a really comfortable and relaxing choice for your visit to Barcelona.
The living room has all the mod cons to make this a wonderful place to stay; such as TV with international channels, ADSL, so internet connection is not a problem, DVD, stereo and radio to ensure that your relaxation time is guaranteed.
