The Comtal apartment is located right in the middle of Barcelona city only a short walk from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, making it accessible to all areas of interest in Barcelona such as the Gothic Quarter, and the very trendy El Borne. At walking distance from the apartment you will find the superb food and produce market called La Boqueria on Las Ramblas, an absolute must for any visitor to Barcelona. The apartment offers a quiet reprive from the bustling and very busy Las Ramblas but close enough for guests to walk to where the action is.

The Apartment
The Comtal apartment has been fully renovated, but has maintained some of the original building features like the high ceilings and the exposed wooden beams.
There are two double bedrooms with comfortable double beds and ample wardrobe space for all your belongings. Both of these bedrooms have french windows which open up onto small balconies and which allows lots of natural light to flood in. The smaller bedroom has one single bed and wardrobe space. All of the bedrooms are extremely quiet.
The kitchen comes with all of the mod-cons that you would expect in an apartment of this level including coffee maker, juicer, toaster, microwave, blender,fridge/freeezer etc...to make your stay hassle free when you prepare food bought from the local market.
There are two full bathrooms in the Comtal apartment. One with full bath/shower and a seperate shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. The second has a shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. Both bathrooms come with fresh towels ready to use on arrival.
The large and airy living/dining room is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day shopping or sightseeing. There are two large sofas which convert into sofabeds for the sixth and seventh guests. There is also a TV, DVD and stereo for your entertainment and the apartment has internet connection and a telephone. The large dining table comfortably seats eight guests and there are french doors which lead out onto 2 balconies where you can soak up the atmosphere of Barcelona.
